“A no-frills rest area in Versailles, MO. Somewhat limited room numbers (expansion is on the way, along with presumed upgrades to everything) and sparse accommodations could force a traveler to overlook the most important aspect of the stay: a comfy bed. They have a lot of these. Think 'best sleep you've had in weeks' kinda vibe. At the time of my recent stay here I had been on the road for quite a bit and the bed comfort level exceeded that of some $150-$300 rooms I had stayed at for work.

“Off season so the place was dead, we were just looking for a place to meet up, spend some time together near the lake. There was a kitchen so we could cook our meals. Super cold outside and the cabin was warm and toasty. Cabin was super cute and rustic. Very clean. We had a wonderful time. We hope to be back very soon. ”

“Everything you need all right there, what more could you ask for! My family had a great time at the lake, the pool and hot tub was definitely a huge bonus for us. The band on saturday night was awesome as well as the food from the restaurant. Cabin was clean and made us all feel comfortable and gave us space to hang out as a family.
