“The house is very clean, cute, and well equipped. We were glad for the coffeemaker and the mini fridge, as well as the powerful AC units. The main bed was comfy, 8/10, and the bunk bed was alright, 4/10 (my only gripe). The property is beautiful, and I loved sitting out on the covered porch while it was raining. The rental is about 15 minutes from La Grange, which was nice. We had everything we needed, felt safe, and enjoyed all the pine trees. The host was also the perfect mix of communicative……

“Howdy Ranch was the perfect bookend to our summer. We wanted a weekend away to enjoy each other and be outdoors. The pond was loved by all including the dogs! The water toys (john boat, kayak and paddleboat) were great to have access to. We did a lot of front porch sitting, dock fishing, cooking on the fire pit and admiring the sunset. Disclaimer, we have no idea if the tvs work…never had a reason to turn them on! ”

“This gem is tucked away in a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood. The host is a great communicator and we felt like we were living our best life! Swimming in the private pool at sunset, every amenity and then some at our disposal and restful sleep. We enjoyed great proximity to museums, Austin and the cute town of Smithville. Would return for sure!”
