Family Friendly Oasis


This private garage apartment has a deck that overlooks 55 acres of woods. It has it's own private entrance. Sleeps up to 4 adults, or a small family. Located in a neighborhood where all the homes have 3 acre park-like views. Pet friendly, with private pet relief area. Pets only restricted from pool area. There is a large playground on the property that is covered in play sand. Picnic tables for adults and children, swing set (includes baby swing), slide and climbing wall, Geo Climbing Dome, Trampoline ( fully enclosed with netting), park benches, toys bikes and scooters. The fenced in back yard has an in-ground pool for registered guests' use. There are safety gates at the top of each stairway. We have toddler cots with fun animal sleeping bags available. A traveling crib with changing table and bassinet are also available. For longer stays, there is a washer/dryer available in the garage below apartment, as well as gym equipment (for registered guests only) . The bedroom has a desk in front of the window which overlooks the playground. Blackout curtains for those that work nights. There is a seating area with gas firepit covered by a gazebo and 4 sun loungers around the pool. We have a variety of floats, goggles, and child safety vests available. Whole house generator in case of power outage and water softener & purification system in use. Parties and gatherings are not permitted. Amenities are for registered guests only.

We had a great time visiting family in NC and really appreciate how accommodating the property was for our dogs fenced in mini dog park, provided dog beds and water bowls, and a couple dog toy gifts from the hosts.

The hosts are very friendly, very responsive. They go out of their way to make your stay nice. They are on top of repairs and things that come up to repair out of the ordinary affecting the apartment are delt with without the slightest procrastination. The apartment is very cozy and very well stocked and thought out. They really made this place a home away from home. In our case, a home for us and a place for our newborn to come home to in-between our dwellings. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect place. When they say Family Friendly Oasis, they really mean it. Kathryn, the host, went out of her way to help us extend our stay to accommadate my Wife going into labor two days before our stay ended with us missing the extend deadline. She also went well out of her way to offer us much needed items, not only for the stay, but some extra things as gifts. Very much recommend for anyone looking for a quiet cozy country getaway. Bonus if you stay during Christmas, you get an amazing goodie bag of flavored popcorn that your Wife loves and chows down on as a Christmas gift. :)

Wonderful Stay

My son and I enjoyed our stay at this Oasis! Hosts were very friendly and attentive to all of our needs. Rental was beautifully decorated & stocked with all the amenities needed. Beautiful grounds and pool was amazing! We will certainly return when visiting the area again! Thank you so much for the southern hospitality!

Family Friendly Oasis

We totally enjoyed our stay. Kathryn was so welcoming and thoughtful and made sure we had everything we would need to relax and enjoy our time in Lincolnton. Kathryn even thought of treating our dogs to make them feel at home as well! We absolutely recommend this tranquil oasis. Thanks again for sharing your place with us!!

Charming and clean rental

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic VRBO rental, and it truly exceeded our expectations in every way. The owners were extremely kind and accommodating. They had everything on site you could possibly need, including dog beds! Our dogs loved these beds and chose to sleep in those over their own. The location of the rental was ideal for us. We were close to my brothers house and the venue for the wedding. While still being close to Charlotte for the NASCAR race. It is on a lovely dead end road which made it so peacefully quiet all the time. Communication with the owner was seamless, and they were always quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. They clearly take pride in their property and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

Perfect Getaway !

Super clean, cozy and relaxing getaway! Hosts were wonderful and accommodating! We loved it here! Definitely will stay here again!Our two little dogs also enjoyed it, they were provided a dog bed, bowls w/ treats and even a little toy for each!

This is an amazing place for kids! They thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the park! Everything was clean, organized, and the host was very welcoming. Would definitely come back for another stay! This was my second time there.!

Country getaway with all the comforts of home

My daughter and I loved this country retreat. The owners are very hospitable and accommodating and the property is beautiful. If you are lucky like I was, you may get a glimpse of some wildlife as well. Thank you for everything Katheryn and Ronnie. We hope to visit again in the future.

Fantastic!

This is an awesome home. I was in NC for about 2 weeks on business. I had my 2 teenage sons traveling with me, ages 15 and 17. This couldn't have been a better situation for us. The apartment is above the garage and totally separate from the main house. It's a big space with plenty of room. It has a nice deck off the back over looking the enormous property and pool which backs up to 55 acres. We were able to use the weight room and the washer/dryer in the garage. Kathryn and Ronnie are great people and property is spotless and well maintain inside and out. It's well stock with everything you need for a long or short term stay. We will be back!
