Beautiful views of the lake. Lots of room for playing football, walking dogs, fishing, and kayaking. We enjoyed the quiet cove. Although neighbors are kinda close we never actually saw anyone so it was very peaceful. Not a lot of restaurants within a short distance. We will return but pack more food. Host was great.

Restful retreat

We loved Paradise Point. The home and property are exactly as described, beautiful and superbly appointed. The convenience to shopping and restaurants was wonderful. We and our two dogs loved every minute of our time there. The host was very good to message us to make sure everything was okay. We hope to return. Five stars all the way

Amazing

The pictures don’t give it justice. The house and the view is PERFECT. We loved the location, coffee shop and groceries 2 minutes away. We enjoy the screened in porch and the large backyard. Only thing we forgot were beach towels for the lake! The rooms were perfect for two families. The kitchen had everything and the grill was easy to use. Our friends would pick us up on the dock each day and we would end the day enjoying the sunset.

Paradise Point does not disappoint!!

This is our 2nd year staying at Paradise Point! We love the location and how easy it is to get to most anywhere on the lake either by car or boat. Super close to 2 restaurants and the grocery store. My kids came along with a few of their friends and they had a blast. We also brought our golden retriever and she loved all the grass to romp around on and especially the lake to swim in! Be brought our boat and tied up to the dock. We also rented jet skis across the bridge next to The Pointe Restaurant. The cove is very calm and quiet and we were able to swim and paddle board with very little boat traffic. The house was perfect for the few rainy days we had…multiple tvs and lots of areas to play games or relax. We had a ton of fun and we would highly recommend choosing Paradise Point for your vacation.

Wonderful Relaxing Time

The views from the house are beautiful! The pictures online don't do it justice. There is plenty of area to walk around outside. The place was clean and the owner very responsive. I would recommend this place and would come back.

Perfect Location!

We absolutely loved this house and location! In a quiet cove, but close enough to the main lake to paddle out in our kayaks whenever we wanted to. The house sits on a point between two coves and provides a gorgeous view of the lake. The layout of the house was perfect with an open kitchen, dining and family room space. There was also a wonderful sunroom, which provided additional “gathering” space, and was used primarily as the video game space for our crew. The screened in porch was the perfect place to enjoy our coffee each morning, with a beautiful view of the lake. The house was well cleaned when we arrived and we were immediately at home. We had a great week and totally enjoyed this beautiful place!

2nd Stay at Paradise Point

We are now repeat vacationers at Paradise Point! See my first review from July 2022. As expected, McKenzie was extremely professional, accommodating, and attentive to my communications and needs. The age range of my family spand from 14 - 82, plus a very active water dog. Paradise Point is perfect for all ages! If not out on the boat, my mother loved relaxing on the shaded patio/deck while watching the kids play on the dock and in the water of the quiet cove. The property description and photos remain accurate to the listing. I have no doubt Paradise Point will be at the top of our 2024 vacation choices to make it 3 years in a row!

Great Time at Lake Gaston

Our family had a wonderful time staying at this property! We loved how close we were to the grocery store and restaurants. We have zero complaints and will definitely book again next year! Only suggestion would be a ladder for the dock to easily get out of the water when swimming. Other than that, everything was fantastic. We loved the quiet cove for paddle boarding and floating. Our two golden retrievers also had the best time! Communication from the owner was great! We highly recommend this property 😊

Lake Getaway

We really enjoyed the home and the property. It was great to spend the week in a boat and easily navigate in and out of the dock. McKenzie was prompt and responsive when we had a question. It was great to have both the sunroom and the screened porch, depending on weather. Would highly recommend.

Great getaway!

Our family needed a getaway and de-stress so we chose this place among the others. We are glad we did. The place was immaculate and open. The view was fantastic directly in front of the lake. Everything from the beds and sheets to the sofas were very comforting. McKenzie was on top of her game with communication. I would recommend this place. I’ve been to a bunch of places and to actually come in to a rental and it be exactly as stated is awesome. Thanks McKenzie!

Wonderful Experience

Everything was as advertised. Property was beautiful, house clean and inviting. Furnished beautifully and the screen porch with the all weather porch made it perfect for sitting and viewing the lake. Definitely will come back. PS our 2 dogs loved every moment too!

Family friendly

Family friendly fun at the lake. The property is beautiful and the home had everything we needed. Beds are comfortable and the esthetic definitely makes you feel like your at home. We were celebrating an early Christmas so having a Christmas tree was super special to us. Highly recommend the coffee shop down the street for breakfast or lunch.

This is a GREAT property for any vacation!

The house is excellent and very well described on the website. It has everything you need and is in excellent condition. It has a great layout and can handle a full family with ease. The sunroom and connecting screened porch are really nice features that allow for all day viewing of the cove & lake. The property is equally excellent with a great dock (we brought a 20' center console), kayaks (owner provided), BEAUTIFUL yard overlooking the cove & lake with deck, fire pit and other outdoor seating. Communication with the property manager (McKenzie) was also great. Very quick and thorough responses to all questions. This is our new favorite for Lake Gaston. We will definitely be back.

Great place!

Beautiful home, great location. All of us, from 10 year olds to adults, and some wiener dogs, all loved it and had a great time! Quiet cove was lovely, location on lake was perfect, home was clean and updated. Owner was very accommodating and helpful.

Extended family vacation, great location

This house was well laid out with everything needed, and the location on the water was awesome. So much shoreline for fishing, and a shallow area off the dock for little kids, but deep enough to dick a pontoon boat. House had everything we needed and more, might book again! Had grandparents, adult children, and preteen to preschoolers, loved by all.

Phenomenal stay at Paradise Point

Our stay at Paradise Point was beyond perfect! From my initial inquiry to our simple checkout, McKenzie was very attentive and quick to respond to questions, etc. The property description and photos are accurate. The home is beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. The location is centrally located on Lake Gaston. The surrounding area to include neighbors and waterway was peaceful and quiet during our entire weeklong stay. We plan to make Paradise Point our go-to lake destination!

Great stay at Paradise Point!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It is a perfectly located property on the lake and extremely convenient to the local stores. Communication with the hostess was prompt and thorough. The house is very clean and comfortable, spacious, and nicely decorated inside. We loved spending time on the screened porch and in the glass-enclosed sunroom. We also enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle board as well as the Solo Stove for a firepit that were offered in the amenities. I highly recommend staying at Paradise Point!

Beautiful lakehouse.

We absolutely loved our time at this beautiful lake house. The house was very clean, very nicely decorated, most comfortable beds. The lake view was absolutely stunning from the screen porch and sun room. The house has everything you need to make your stay perfect. My family including our golden retriever loved our time there.. Great stay!

The property was clean, located in a great spot on the lake, and had terrific amenities. We took advantage of the dock, the kayaks, the fire pit, and the local restaurants. Excellent water front rental!

If you are looking for a rental at Lake Gaston, look no further! Our family just returned from a week at this property and it was perfect!! You can’t beat this location, close to grocery store and marina and the location on the lake was excellent for skiing, tubing and wakeboarding!! The house is well equipped and so clean!! It is very family friendly, screen porch was perfect for evening game night!! Communications with the owner were effortless and always promptly returned. We can’t recommend this property enough!!

Beautiful place

There is so much to love about this property. It’s in a great location. The house is beautiful and has the most gorgeous views of the lake. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway, this is the perfect place. The local coffee shop is very close by and was lovely. I can’t recommend this property enough.
