Stairway to the castle is located in the heart of the historic city centre, directly below the Ljubljana castle, which is exactly 45 steps away. Enjoy unique experience of vintage style in big and comfortable rooms in the heart of historic centre - just above Ljubljanica river and below Ljubljana castle. You can take a short walk and reach all the major attractions: * Dragon bridge * Ljubljana Castle * Triple Bridge * Preseren square * Central Market * Ljubljana Town Hall Apartment is just a few minutes away from a lot of restaurants, bars and small shops, If you like to cook, Central Market with fresh food is just 5 min walk away.

An absolute treasure in Europe’s best hidden secret in Ljubljana. The host Grega provides everything you need to get to the place and what is good to see around. This makes it far easier for the traveller new to the town. The apartment overlooks the city river caving at the base of the castle. A large apartment it offers a large ensuites bedroom with an atrium and living room which was converted to the kids bedroom for our stay. The fully equipped kitchen is great for those wishing to cook up with some local produce from the nearby shops and markets. The apartment is literally a stones throw from the main shopping and restaurant districts. Ensure you check out every nook of this amazing city. Wifi is strong and there’s plenty of seating for those needing to do some work whilst away. Most definitely returning to here next we visit Ljubljana or the surrounds of Slovenia.

Great place to stay. We had five people which a little bit much in the sleeping space wise but there were enough sofa beds tree to make do! Great location and host was awesome
