“Excellent well appointed and very comfortable. The owners were welcoming and the extras in the room were a lovely touch. The breakfast was delicious with high quality ingredients and plenty of it. The communal lounge a nice touch with the honesty bar. Would highly recommend. ”

“Everything was very good as always. Went for a second visit to Have the fillet steak to check the new oven wasn't a fluke from the previous week but it was just as good. Christian said we have swordfish as a new dish so had that for lunch that was amazing too. Didn't find out my Mum was there with friends and she also had the swordfish lol in the main restaurant as i was in the bar lol.Breakfast was also as good as always, Thanks Gill. “My husband and I had a really lovely stay at the Usk & Railway Inn, from the friendly greeting at check in, the clean, good sized and comfortable room, with a good complimentary tray of tea, coffee and biscuits, and toiletries, to the superb evening meal (a fantastic Sunday roast), we had a wonderful nights sleep. It was finished off by a hearty cooked breakfast, which we both thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you both, you’re great hosts. ”
