“We loved our stay at Walden Retreats. Becky checked us in and was so welcoming and informative of our tent and things to do while we were there. I was worried that the tent would be warm in the first of August, but we kept the shades down during the day and the fans on. “This was the best property we have ever stayed in at Fredericksburg, Texas! The property was absolutely five stars! Everything about it was absolutely lovely. It was spacious, it was clean. It was perfectly decorated, check in and check out with seamless, David was an absolute gentleman at check-in and check out, and the giant Jacuzzi and fireplace were to die for. Oh, and one last thing, the location was excellent!”

“I loved it all. Only downside was you couldn’t get close to the water to fish but in defense of property owners there was a resent flood. Lots of down trees on opposite side from where you fish. And erosion wash out. But I wouldn’t change a thing. The hot tub was just what we needed to help us ☺️. 😁”

“Beautiful house and a great location walkable distance from town. The hot tub needed a little refresh before we were able to use it, but the host was really responsive and we were able to enjoy the hot tub and pool during our stay.”
