The lady in the morning as I checked out was amazing! (Hate to frame it like this, but she’s the bigger lady with brown hair) FABULOUS, absolutely wonderful. Beautiful person on the inside and out. Limited interaction with her, but you can just tell. Hotel is a bit dated, but it was clean. The lady serving breakfast was kind and wonderful - always cleaning and ensuring everyone was well taken care of. I would definitely stay here again.

Property location was good. House keeping provided a fan promptly when asked. Unfortunately the A/C has not been upgraded and was noisy and did not provide cooling affectively. However, price point was good for the facilities.

Overall, we slept well and the breakfast was very good. However, the cleaning could have been better. Day 1 we found hairs in the shower and on the bed sheets that were not ours as we just walked into the room. Then, we asked for our room to get cleaned on day 2 of our stay and wanted our sheets changed and all they did was made up the bed with the same sheets and left hairs again. We would probably stay again, however, the cleaning department needs to be reminded to clean thoroughly and not leave hair.

The room was small for a family of 4. There is a pub/bar located inside the hotel open to the public and non paying guests. Friday when we were there it was karaoke night which was loud for the rooms close to the pub. Many people outside smoking by side doors. The room was hot and the ac did not work with no windows to open to cool down the room. The pool was very cold and uneventful- towels were super small in size for pool area. We had ordered take out and had asked the front desk for plates and they would not give us any to borrow. The shampoo and conditioner ran out and when I called the front desk to ask for more and maintenance brought two small travel size shampoos for 4 people. Breakfast was decent.

The staff were very nice, especially the lounge staff. Our room was. clean. One thing I will note that has nothing to do with the hotel stay. When we originally booked we called the number on the hotels website. The booking agent stated that it would be 136 per night. It came through as 193 on my credit card so I cancelled immediately. It took /about 3 weeks for me to get my refund and it came in 7 transactions of varying amounts.

Breakfast lady was rude and her attitude towards patrons was unforgivable.She questioned our room key saying it might be a counterfeit card.She and belittled my husband and treated him with no respect. He was made to feel like a criminal.This breakfast lady did the same on a previous visit finally apologizing as we left. Our next visit a few weeks later was no different.Why apologize only to issue the same disregard once more. I want to add also that the breakfast was sadly lacking.The hotel carpets were filthy. Thumbs down on being berated. Next stay somewhere else.

I liked the fact that there were a lot of amenities nearby within walking distance. The pub/restaurant was nice (good food choices) but no tap beer, only bottles. Check in was rather dicey as the card reader wouldn't accept my card although it went through on tap. Weird. There was a man ahead of us having the same difficulty and by the time he got settled and we afterward, it was about half an hour before we got our room key. I also got double charged but staff picked up on it and a refund will be forthcoming. That's the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. But... the rooms are clean and for the price, this was a really good deal. I'd recommend.
