“8 of us stayed here for New Year with 2 dogs, and the property was perfect for us. Plenty of room and great facilities with lovely walks round about.”

“This is a lovely, well maintained, comfortable property in an excellent country location. It is very peaceful, with deer, birds and other wildlife all around . But the village of Killin is only about 2 miles away and has a good supermarket, several restaurants and coffee shops, all very convenient. And the beautiful Falls of Dochart are an added attraction. We loved our stay!”

“The Kist is in a very quiet rural area located down a windy narrow road. If you desire a beautiful two bedroom cottage with a great kitchen this is a great space for you. We spent 2 nights early April when all of the area fields are sprinkled the sheep and their newborn lambs. We explored the acreage the Kist sits on with beautiful views of the fields and hills, listening to the lambs calling for their moms. So peaceful, serene, yet close enough to a few must see sights such as Stirling Castle……

“We enjoyed every aspect of or stay. The cottage was immaculate and had everything required for an enjoyable stay. The owner and caretaker were only a phone call away and only too happy to help when we had a request for an extra evening stay. Nothing was to much trouble. We would definitely recommend the cottage for exploring the wonderful countryside in the area.”

“De woning is ruim en ligt rustig gelegen. Vanuit de woning loop je zo de natuur in. De eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De wifi ontvangst is prima om aan de behoefte van 2 pubers te voldoen. De slaapkamer en woonkamer is up-to date. De badkamer en toilet is zeer ruim en kan wel een update gebruiken. Ook de apart keuken is ruim en er is veel servies en bestek aanwezig.”

“We had a great time at this fabulous cottage. Perfectly situated near, but not in, the centre of Comrie and ideally a 1 minute walk to the best restaurant The Deil’s Kitchen. Beautifully decorated, extremely well equipped with every extra you could possibly need. Comfortable, warm, plenty of room and a really great kitchen. Even Storm Babet didn’t spoil our break though it did mean we didn’t use the lovely garden and seating area. The dog however loved it and as it is enclosed, was safe. Would……

“We had a great time staying here and can wholeheartedly recommend it! The pictures do not do this place justice, the views are amazing and the house is cozy and has a warm and loving feeling. We stayed here for six days and our only regret is not staying longer. David is also a great host who answered our questions immediately and we felt well taken care of both before and during our stay. We will definitely want to come back at some point!”

“Barn was lovely. Very clean had everything we needed. Beds were super comfy. Hosts were lovely and provided amazing welcome back for us. Location was lovely and peaceful. Lots DVD books games and blankets in the barn. Had lovely fire although weather was mild so we didnt need to use. Would highly recommend”

“We have spend a nice time at this cottage. The contact with the owner is really gentle. Aberfeldy is a nice town with supermarkets and good restaurants. From there you can make a lots of trip’s or hiking tours in the Highlands and visit Perth or Pitlochry. Everything was great! Recommendation!”

“For ourselves, this was a perfect place to get away, totally private and extremely quiet. It's about 200m up a single track lane so you have to hope nobody is coming in the opposite when arriving or leaving. The garden in front of the cottage is totally enclosed so you cannot see the lane. The cottage is not large, but is very cosy and is ideally equipped. The Aga takes a bit of getting used to but there is also a small 2 ring electric hob if you do struggle. The Jacuzzi bath is a luxury,……

“We spent a lovely weekend at Hollybank & can’t fault it at all. Enough space to either spend time in small groups or be together as a group of 8. Very well-equipped kitchen & loved the option for either casual dining in the open-plan lounge or the more formal dining room. Would happily return at any time.”

“Strathendrick House was the first stop in a family trip to the Highlands. We found everything about this beautiful home and the area to be perfect and wish we had planned to stay longer. Hector and Heather were responsive and extremely helpful. We loved visiting the restaurants (delicious food options) and grocer in Drymen and found everyone to be so welcoming and helpful. “Wonderfully located -- close to everything but just far enough away to be calm and quiet. After exploring Stirling, we took the train for a day trip to Glasgow, just 45 mins away. Very easy and just a 10-15 min walk to the station. Beds were VERY comfortable, good closet space and dresser. The second bedroom has very low head clearance, not for the claustrophobic. Also, I must not have paid close enough attention to the listing and didn't realize the bathroom was not on the same level as the……
