“The room I booked is a lake view room. The view of the room is very good and the room is big enough, BUT,,,,, The blanket on the bed may NOT have been changed for a long time. The very bad smell made me unable to sleep all night. I strongly suggest that the management can quickly check every room, don't let this problem affect the reputation of the Hamptom Inn.”

“End of season but didn’t seem like the water view balcony area, especially the cushions had been cleaned all season. Never saw a staff person, just an online agent that sent the code for the room. They put a fresh coat of paint on the room and put in some Walmart furniture to try to sell this as a 4 star motel. The cobwebs and general uncleaned feeling made this a one time only ever stay here for us. The smaller windows that face the road near the bed and bathroom need to have curtains……

“Beautiful location, bedding nice, helpful staff, convenient parking right in front of our room. Room had coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. Hotel lobby had coffee/tea but no breakfast. Have to travel for breakfast. Room had only one chair and a low small table. An additional chair would be good. Staff had no control but one person hogged the coffee machine and used the last drop of coffee without letting staff know. It was annoying but beyond staff control.”

“The TV's are very small and are not smart TV's so you can't stream anything.”
