“We had 12 adults for this family getaway and 1 dog. The house had plenty of space, and the yard was wonderful for outdoor activities. The sun went behind the trees to cool down the hot July afternoons. Lake level was 84% full, which is no control of the host, but we were able to swim and use our Jet Ski. If I had to say one short fall, there were not enough utensils for a house that's supposed to hold 14 people. Only 7 forks, but we went and got plasticware. I will say 5 stars to the host……

“I dread leaving this review for fear this property will forever be sold out when we want to return! What a gem of a space inside and out. Quiet neighborhood. We especially enjoyed the patio/BBQ and deck area right on the water with festive outside lighting. Short paddle out of bend in the cove and you're out to open waters that were perfect and peaceful for paddle boards or whatever floats your boat...literally:))King bed in master suite was plush and comfy. Tons of other sleeping spaces as……

“It’s great place, very welcoming, Here’s the minor issues: This was our 2nd visit. The coffee maker did not work for me either time. The internet had problems off and on. There was no bath soap, laundry detergent, shampoo was empty. There was a small wooden door on the outside of the house that the wind blew and it knocked against the house. It woke my son up and he propped some wood against it to keep it shut. There was sewer order in the house when my son used the shower upstairs. I……

“Tristen should be awarded employee of the month. Nathan the owner should be removed from Vrbo. My husband booked The Oak Casita for our 8 yr old daughters birthday. Here she and I would be Glamping for 2 nights in celebration of her. The temp was below freezing and there wasn’t any HOT WATER! Nathan hired a Property Management company and maintenance man Tristen came out several times to turn on the hot water heater. Nathan was contacted by Vrbo about the problem and his response was to have me……

“The host is amazing! He responded to my questions quickly and thoroughly. Any concerns I had after arriving were handled efficiently. You will not be disappointed with the sleeping accommodations. The king sized mattress felt better than the one my husband and I use at home! This glamping container is surrounded by woods, with the opportunity to view wildlife from the sliding glass door that opens onto a back porch. Our nicest surprise was a hot tub on the front porch! It was the perfect ending……
