Great Cabin

This cabin is nicely furnished and kitchen is well supplied with just about anything you might need. Keurig, crockpot, serving bowls and plenty of silverware.

Perfect Getaway

This cabin was absolutely perfect. It was clean, updated, well prepared with towels, bedding, even some complimentary snacks. Everything was well communicated, as well as plenty of information through out the cabin to help clarify aspects of the rental, but also improve our stay. Couldn't ask for a better place to escape to for an extended weekend than this secluded and spacious cabin.

Perfect weekend getaway for couples

This cabin was perfect for our annual weekend away for a kids free weekend with our friends. The kitchen had every appliance we could think of and more. The hot tub was perfect for the six of us and was the biggest so far of all the cabins we've stayed in. We would have liked to have had dryer access to dry the towels but they provided extras so it wasn't an issue. The giant TV in the basement came with extra HDMI cables so it was easy to hook up the PS4 and play games for part of the weekend. The main driveway up from the road was paved so it was an easy climb for all of our vehicles. And the property manager had snow removal out to clear the 8 in of snow right away such that we had an easy time checking out.

Wonderful Cabin for a Family Getaway

We stayed at the cabin for 3 nights over spring break with 3 young children and grandparents and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The weather was a bit colder than hoped so we spent more time inside, but there was plenty of room for everyone to relax and not feel cramped. The board games and pool table were great entertainment and we loved playing games downstairs during nap time or when littles went to bed. The outdoor space is what sold us on this rental and it did not disappoint. The yard was so nice to play with the kids and we enjoyed exploring the small trails on the property. The hot tub was very clean and we loved the fire pit. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing meals at home and it was a short drive into town to pick up pizza and get ice cream. We had wonderful communication from the owners and they were responsive to any questions we had. We were so thankful to find this cabin and would absolutely stay again!

Great week

The place was wonderful and everything was a advertised. We all had a great week and enjoyed all the Lodge had to offer. We had one small issue that the owner remedied immediately. The only issue I had was the listing. When searching for a property to rent, I indicated that I had 6 people. The Lodge came up as an option and listed a nightly fee. When I took a deeperr look at the charges, I found a fee for an extra guest. Why does a property that advertises that they can sleep 10, charge extra for a group of 6? It seems a bit deceptive to hide extra fees in an attempt to make the nightly fee seem cheaper. I had no problem with the overall price and gladly paid it. I just find the practice a little dishonest. I recommend the property to anyone interested in staying on the area. Well worth the money.

Family fun

We stayed for an extended family gathering so there were 11 of us. The property was amazing. Clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed to cook our meals and the kitchen was huge so we really didn't trip over each other. The fire pit was so fun and the hot tub was relaxing after a long day. My only complaint would be the beds weren't the most comfortable, but that is just a preference. Also it would have been nice to have another bed upstairs instead of in the main living room. There is plenty of room and it's much more comfortable to be out of the way. Having the pool table and area to play games was nice for our 1 rainy day. Our host was amazing, very attentive and always responded quickly to any questions or concerns. We would definitely stay here again.

Great getaway!

We had a lovely time staying at the Lodge at Hickory Ridge! The cabin had everything we needed, from cookware to linens and toiletries. The property and surrounding area are beautiful and well-maintained. It feels very secluded but is also only a few minutes drive from grocery stores and restaurants, so you really get the best of both worlds. The hosts are friendly and communicative. Definitely recommend!

Perfect Girls Weekend Getaway

We had a group of 7 girls stay in The Lodge for a cozy cabin/hiking weekend. This property is beautiful with so much to do at the house itself. The owners are super helpful, accommodating, and very responsive. Hocking Hills trails were better than we imagined and we really enjoyed the wineries as well. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and can't wait to go back!

Annual Guys Trip Success!

We get together once a year and we had a fantastic time at The Lodge. Downstairs, with the pool table and TV set up, felt like our very own sports bar for college football, and it was just great. Highly recommended!

Weekend with family

This is the second time we have stayed at this cabin with our children and grandchildren. The cabin has just about everything you will need for an enjoyable weekend together. Relatively close to Hocking Hill attractions.

Hocking Hills Rocks!

We had a great time. The property was beautiful and exactly as advertised. The communication with the owner was very good. We were close enough to the local towns and the hiking so it was easy to get around. We would definitely recommend this place to others.

Super Clean and had Everything we needed!

The property was very clean. There were plenty of dishes to cook with. The hot tub was one of the perks and the reasonable distance to Hocking Hills. There were 2 adults and 4 kids in our group and there was plenty of space for everyone. The owners were easy to work with and provided all the information we needed. I would recommend using this cabin if you have a large family.

Great setting. Not the best for little ones under 12. I would recommend to cook inside until the grill and firepit are resituated.
