This was an amazing place to stay. Rebecca and Karl were amazing hosts. The property is so beautiful and peaceful. They have activities like hiking, fishing, pool table, a paddleboat even movies for you to choose from and watch. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, made from scratch and served so nicely. We could not have been happier to stay here and escape the bustle and hassle of hotels. Town is just about 15 minutes away for snacks and gas. And there are great restaurants also just down the way. Rebecca and Karl were very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. We wish we had more time to enjoy their wonderful property. We will be back 100% if we plan to be in that area again.

Relaxation at its best!

This was our first time staying at Walnut Waters. It was an absolute pleasure to meet the owners and stay at such a relaxing and well-appointed venue. One of the best experiences was enjoying the beautiful scenery while relaxing on the pond.

Holiday weekend getaway

Needed a stress relieving weekend away, and this location delivered. Definitely felt at home the moment we arrived and throughout our stay. Great hosts, wonderful breakfast, and tranquil atmosphere. We were close to good restaurants and the Rock Island Katy Trailhead.

Truly a hidden gem! Beautiful and serene, yet minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Kansas City and other fun activities. Karl and Rebecca were fantastic hosts catering to your every need. Our room was wonderful, very clean and private. The home cooked breakfast was delicious and the other amenities were an added bonus. We will definitely come back and would recommend Walnut Waters to anyone.

Stay in alone Jack

I had an amazing experience staying at this location. The hosts were incredibly nice and welcoming people, not to mention awesome chefs for breakfast in the morning. It was also the perfect balance between privacy in your own room and having the company of the couple in the shared room or outdoors.
