“It was good stay overall but there was pet hairs all over the property which I didn't like ”

“This ia an amazing place. From the minute we wallked in to the minite we left the levels of service was impeccable. Lovely rooms, Top class Spa and pools. Delicious breakfat with a great variety and excellent, friendly and professional staff who look to cater for your every need. I will definitely be back later in the summer. ”

“My husband and I stayed in the hotel, whilst our friends stayed in a lodge as they had taken their dog. Both were excellent. The hotel grounds are well kept and beautiful. All staff were friendly and helpful. We used the spa/ pool area. Lovely hot jacuzzi. We would definitely recommend a stay.”

“Amazing place for family with younger children. Our children - 8,6& 2 loved their stay here. We swam every day, attempted crabbing, played in the playground and attended all of the activities put on by the den staff. Kids loved mocktail & jewellery making and they put on a great Easter egg hunt for the kids too. They also attended the den sessions and were happy each time. The rabbit feeding was also really lovely. Only complaint really is the restaurant. Breakfast is good but dinner/lunch has……

“Food was excellent and service in the restaurant very good. The overall ambience was very pleasant. Our room was disappointing. It was small with no seat other than the bed. Wardrobe and drawer provision were inadequate even for a 2 night stay. The lack of parking is a serious problem with a 800 yard walk to pick up the car unacceptable to many of your guests, but it's a problem that won't go away.”

“This is an amazing house with incredible views and a wonderful owner who goes the extra mile to be helpfull. Also a brilliant local team to help you with any problems or queries. To look at the coast every morning whatever the weather made my day.”

“Just what I needed ”

“We enjoyed a fabulous one night stay at Haveners. Room 2 was luxurious with a large comfy bed, beautifully decorated and a wonderful bathroom with rain head shower. It was just perfect with views of the quayside and water. Lovely to sit and watch the little Polruan ferry coming and going. The staff were amazing, it felt like a much loved family run business rather than a corporate concern. All staff were polite, friendly and helpful and always on hand. “Great little guest house and comes with a free car parking space. Donna was an excellent host along with Mia the friendly rescue dog. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice, cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurts followed by a full Welsh or eggs on toast or a bacon sanwich etc. Deganwy is licensed so we were able to enjoy a drink or 2 in the evening. Keep up the good work Donna!”

“A very homely and beautifully presented guest house. Very friendly staff and amazing breakfasts. Would definitely return but maybe ask for room on first floor as tricky dragging case to third floor. Easy walking distance to bars and restaurants. Great for those wanting to walk coastal footpath. ”

“The proprietors were welcoming and very helpful with dietary intolerances. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The food was tasty and plentiful, proper food, not that novelle cuisiine nonsense. The beer was well-brewed and truly tasty. The parking was a bit cramped but nothing that any reasonably competent driver could not cope with. We would definitely stay there again.”

“Fantastic friendly service. Big bedroom and bathroom, all very clean. The only slight criticisms would be that the curtains are white and very thin so the room was very light from 5:30am making it hard to sleep. There was also no mirror in the room however front desk staff quickly rectified this by allowing us to take the mirror hung in the corridor, I would recommend leaving that mirror in the room (Room 2). Overall an excellent two night stay.”
