“Very disappointing stay. We had booked a two-night stay and drove several hours to the hotel, but unfortunately we had to leave again on the same evening without staying a single night. The first room had a very unpleasant smell of smoke and sewage/manure, and the air-conditioning unit was leaking water down the wall. We complained immediately and were moved to a second room, which had an extremely strong faecal/sewage smell. We were then given a third room, located directly next to the second……

“Great stop over hotel to continue exploring the region or onward journey. Big plus is secure and gated car park.”

“We were met by the lovely Hugo who upgraded us to the very lovely Gîte. We had pre booked dinner as there is nowhere walkable nearby and we wanted a drink or two! Hugo prepared us a super feast and kept us entertained with a music quiz and plenty of wine. Then we went for a swim in their fancy indoor pool. A very memorable night in a charming place. Highly recommended!”

“Die Klimanlage funktionierte nicht Bei Ca 34 Grad Aussentemperatur Kann man sich nicht im Aufgeheizten Zimmer erholen/ Schlafen”

“Excellent place to stay near the motorway. Quite a climb up to the old town but will worth it. Breakfast had limited choice but all very good.”

“Perfect stop over after long drive from Calais, love the retro feel it has. Room was big enough for two people and a spaniel. Quiet location too. Staff provided us with a locally brewed bottled beer which was very good. My only disappointment was a small one and that was small paper cups instead of proper cups and uht milk in the room- Although the breakfast facilities did look very good, we didn’t have time to try them. Would stay again.”

“This is a great location and a friendly family hotel”

“Les chambres sont propres mais vétustes, la douche est équipée d'un rideau, c'est juste inconfortable. Le petit déjeuner est limité, pas beaucoup de choix et le dernier jour les croissants et pains au chocolat immangeables car trop cuits... À côte de ça, le personnel est vraiment sympa et agréable.”

“A nice stay, we managed a good sleep, good mattress, basic room, no water or kettle. The breakfast had a limited option, but ok to start the day. Safe parking. Shopping area at 5 min walking.”
