"Great stay at the Holiday Inn Express, especially given the circumstances. My flight got cancelled at the last minute, and the staff were incredibly accommodating, checking me in quickly despite the short notice. The room was spotless with clean linens and a tidy bathroom, no complaints. It turned a stressful travel situation into a smooth, easy experience. Would definitely book here again."

"Clean but dated Delta hotel. Location was the best part, but overall hotels seem expensive in downtown Halifax. Convenience of connectivity to the mall was understated. So very worthwhile in terms of a quick trip where travellers will not be in the room much."

"Very nice experience. Customer service staff were friendly and helpful. We required a coffee machine in the room and they provided it within 10 minutes of checking in. Restaurant staff are friendly and provide great service. Rooms were crisp and clean and other facilities were well kept."

"We spent one night here at this beautiful location. We enjoyed the hot tub and lovely lake front property. The room was quiet (although this could be different if the additional guests were noisier; we did hear conversations in the morning). The room and common areas were very clean. The communal kitchen and living room were well appointed. Self serve breakfast with numerous choices. Bed and bed linens were very comfy. Close to Martinique Beach at the end of the peninsula where we saw a beautiful sunset. This is a self check-in location and we appreciated that convenience. Staff was available if needed but everything was clearly outlined in our handbook and messages prior to check-in. We would stay here again if we were in the area."

"This facility is lovely, if a little pricey. It is ideal for a relaxing getaway or special occasion. The view of the lake is great and provides an ideal backdrop. The dome is spacious and has everything you need. A little more countertop and food prep area would have improved the experience. There is a nice bbq on the deck but unfortunately no table so you have to eat inside, which I found sad as it would have been nice to watch the boats on the lake whilst eating dinner. There is a good walking trail right next door to work up an appetite. Overall a pleasant experience for our first time staying in a dome."
