There's no doubt the property was beautiful inside out and the location and view was superb. The only thing that spoiled the experience for us was the way the property manager Great Ocean Road Realestate handled the issues we had with the property whilst on our stay.
We spoke Elizabeth, gave her constructive criticisms about the property, however instead of fixing the issues, she offered a compensation for things that did not work but we've never seen any of it. She gave us an email to write to regarding our issues, we wrote to her email twice and no replies. Here are the issues with the property that was never resolved for us:
1. Spa water temperature was only slightly warm and went cold very quickly after we lift up the cover. The water was no where near 36 degrees as claimed.
2. There was not enough hot water for showers only 2-3 people can shower at the one time, the others have to wait
3. Coffee machine in the kitchen was mouldy, looks like it hasn’t been cleaned for ages.
4. Ignition on the right gas kitchen stove did not work. The lighter was out of gas so we had to purchase a new lighter to use
5. induction stoves worked the first 3 days, last 2 days not working
6. The tradie that came to fix the gas stove on the second day left black dust everywhere in the kitchen, we had to clean this up
7. baking dishes in the cupboards were oily and dirty, we had to clean it prior to using
We wanted to give contructive comments, but Elizabeth was the one that offered compensation. Perhaps she did this so that we would not give a bad feedback at the time.
We don't appreciate being ignored and lied to. We hope you respect others a bit more in the future.
