Family reunion

This was my first time using a short term rental. The home is beautiful, the backyard and pool were great for our gatherings. The neighborhood is lovely with a walking trail nearby. Unfortunately the oven and microwave were broken ( there was a smaller microwave on the counter that worked) and we were not aware of this until the day we arrived. It made it difficult to prepare meals for 17 people. And hot water was not always available for multiple showers. The kids were disappointed that the foosball pucks were broken so they couldn’t play. But overall we had an enjoyable experience.

Perfect for our Thanksgiving celebration

Overall, it was a great place to stay. There was some lack of communication with the property manager. Also, the outlets in the master bedroom was not working during our stay, notified the property manager., but nothing was fixed. All in all—-We had a great time, and everyone had space to relax and enjoy each other’s company.

Family fun

This was a great place to stay that accommodated my family and all the children perfectly. My sister loved it because she and her husband don't have kids and they got to stay in the pool house where it was quiet and not be woken up at 6am! The kids and adults loved the slide into the pool! Would definitely stay again!

Perfect for a large family

We stayed with our family of 7 and two dogs - everyone had plenty of room, and our own spaces to escape to and relax. We came for the Rose Bowl game so didn’t have time to enjoy the pool but the home was gorgeous, well stocked and perfect for what we needed. Super cute and quaint neighborhood and very quiet. Highly reccomend!

Very nice stay in the neighborhood.

Very nice, quiet, neighborhood and a short walk to various stores. The beds were comfortable. The backyard was very nice. We enjoyed the pool and just sitting outside reading. The only thing, and we have been speaking with property management was the hot water for showers. We would have it for a few minutes then had to turn off the shower, then turn it back on. Management was very responsive and sent someone out to come up with a temporary fix. I would check to see if the issue has been fixed. If so I would recommend this property.

Family Vacation

We were 2 families (4 adults, 6 kids - aged 9-15) and enjoyed our stay. The location is in a nice neighborhood, with various dining and supermarket options close-by. The kids all enjoyed the pool. The house was clean but not spotless. Check-in and check-out were both super easy.

Beautiful house

Beautiful house. It’s huge, well furnished, everything was clean. Check in process was easy. The backyard is very nice. The pool is clean and fun to swim in. The back house is really nice. Looks brand new. Had a great experience.

Good stay, fine time.

All was good. Small problem with shower controls and hot water. Paid for pool to be heated but water was to cold for even the younger ones to get in the pool, however we enjoyed our stay. The owners were very responsive.

Incredible Location and Place for a Group

We had a group of moms and girls taking a camp at UCLA. This was the perfect place for us, each mom got their own room and the kids all piled into the room with the bunk beds. They absolutely loved the pool and the game room/garage. The house was clean and there was plenty of parking. We had a minor issue, and the owner was super responsive and had it addressed the same day (on a weekend)! We will definitely be back next summer!

I’m honestly nervous to leave a review at this point

I will leave this short. If you want to rent a place and not care if sheets don’t seem clean, stools are broken, pool is dirty, and things aren’t working, you’ll be fine. However, if you want to raise these concerns or any with the host you will have issues. The host had me crying my eyes out on the phone while being yelled at and berated over the phone by him, I was shaking. He basically threatened to have us kicked out if we were to raise any further issue with the property even though the guest book says to please reach out if anything is not in order which is what we were following. I felt extremely uncomfortable and would’ve have seriously booked another location if there were any available. Overall the place was fine, there were a few things we tried to raise but the reason for the star rating is due to my experience with the host that I would never want to encounter again.

Not as expected

The house is nice, good location and responsive property management but lots of little things were off. The hot water took a long time to heat up and didn’t work at all one night. You had to run the water in the kitchen sink to help the dishwasher get going and the dishwasher racks were broken so dishes kept falling over. There were just basic items in the kitchen, no well thought out extras. The kids loved the pool. The pool was great. The house wasn’t as clean as I thought after getting settled. The house worked for us and location was excellent but there were too many little things that were off.

Nice location

Overall a very nice location, convenient to many areas. Ample parking, plenty of space for families, large pool, flexible sleeping arrangements with ADUs, well stocked kitchen, pool towels provided, plenty of towels in the bathroom. Property manager is very responsive, answered text questions very quickly. However, they could make the check in process better. I had reserved the place over 3 months in advance and while I did get an initial confirmation, didn't hear any thing else for months. About a week before I started to get nervous and asked what the check in process was and got a reply that it would be sent a day in advance. After that when I still didn't get anything the night before I texted again and was immediately sent the instructions. So they are very responsive but not as proactive as other locations. I would stay here again now that I know how they operate - these I feel were minor issues and overall feel it is a great place that is well maintained.

Disappointed and Dissatisfied

We arrived at 9pm from a long drive from Houston w/ 8 kids. The house was not cleaned well before our arrival-pet hair on the floor, flea on the bed, and a lot of visible dirt on rugs. It was a 2-night rental and our schedule was packed, so there was not time to contact the owner during our stay. We vacuumed the home, so we could get some rest which I shouldn’t have to do as a guest. One bedspread had a spot that looked like bodily fluid. Pics were sent to owner. The listing did not mention the detached guesthouse which didn’t work for our 2 families w/ kids under 10. Multiple kids had to sleep in the same beds inside the main house. We booked the home based on the number of beds and planned for each child to have their own bed. Had the listing stated that 2 out of the 6 beds & baths were not attached to the main home and a pool was in between (safety concern), we would have found a different home that was conducive to families w/ small kids. We emailed the owner right after checkout to voice concerns and reach a resolution. Property Manager, Mike, reached out by phone. He was defensive and made excuses saying he personally knew the cleaners and did not believe they didn’t clean well. He said he would speak w/ his partner and reach back out. I did not hear from him for 10 days and had to follow up. He then shared the owner was out of town and would not be able to respond until returning. I had to request a date to expect a response and was given a date that has since passed.

Pretty property, rude hosts

The pool was a huge letdown—so dirty it couldn’t be used. There was a grimy film across the surface, full of bugs, and we ended up having to clean it ourselves, including setting up the robot cleaner to tackle the bottom. The so-called "water slide" was just a regular slide you had to spray with a hose to make usable. As for the annexed pool house rooms, they were musty and far from inviting.The biggest issue, though, was the host's lack of professionalism and diligence. When we arrived, two trash cans were at the end of the driveway. By day two, they were gone. On the morning of checkout, the instructions asked us to place the trash in those cans—except they were nowhere to be found. Three doctors, a software engineer, and a lawyer spent way too much time hunting for trash cans that didn’t exist.We reached out to the host to let them know, but it took four hours for them to respond—well after we’d checked out. When they finally did, instead of acknowledging the situation, they accused us of lying about not finding the cans. Really? We followed every other checkout task, but somehow skipped the “easy” one on purpose? It’s far more likely the neighbors moved the cans on day two, and the host didn’t bother to check before blaming us.The host’s unprofessionalism and lack of accountability turned an already subpar stay into a frustrating experience. I wouldn’t recommend this property unless you enjoy cleaning pools and being falsely accused.

this property was perfect for our family (10 people) get together. It had plenty of room, a great outdoor space, and was located to fairly close to most of the things we wanted to see and do. Mike and Julie were very responsive and answered all questions quickly. Thanks for a great stay!
