The hotel has great rooms, super clear and comfortable. If you plan to stay here be aware of the live music that plays everyday at the bar under the hotel. It goes late, but using earplugs or noise cancelling headphones drowns out most of the noise.

Impeccable attention to design detail and room amenities. The music venue downstairs is so cool, great music... all the vibes. Loved that the rooms feel like an apartment because of their unique lay out, didn't feel like a hotel.

Lovely little hotel Important to note there is no elevator and they do play music in the bar downstairs. It was done around 10pm the night I was there but I did hear it from my room - but that is kinda the point of the music theme I guess. Otherwise a lovely experience. Room was very cute and staff was helpful.

Gold Diggers is an absolute gem of a place and I can't wait to come back. The team went out of their way to manage my luggage around my schedule and the room itself was very unique and comfortable. Massive bonus is the incredible bar and recording studio attached to the property. Highly recommend.

Such a lovely setup hotel room, really unique and music-focused. Really premium and well fit out. However, people should really be aware that you are above a very very loud music venue. It wasn't clear on Hotels.com. I'm not talking a bit of soft music, it's drums and guitars crashing till 2am, bed shaking. With ear plugs and everything, you could SEE the music. Stuff was shaking. I've seen other reviews flag this, and the owners respond saying they make it clear its above a music venue, but who is this hotel for? It's so loud till 2am, i don't fully understand where the idea for putting hotel rooms there came from. It's the loudest hotel room I've stayed in! aha Again though, really well made up. So if you want a nice place, reasonable price, good location close to things, but really really really love very loud music / are deaf / dont intend to sleep till 2am - then this hotel is for you.

Dropping off luggage wasn’t easy to park in front. Streets are well… LA. However the parking lot a little down the street was so nice. Room was so cute and cozy. The noise level was NOT as bad as I had assumed with a DJ playing in the lounge.

Super groovy

This hotel is super chic. The room was really nice with cool furniture and a comfy bed. Lots of amenities included with the room: yoga mat, turntable and vinyl, earplugs, coffee/tea set up, eco friendly toiletries. The building has an interesting history; don’t let the plain facade fool you. Lounge is adjacent with vinyl DJs and live music. We popped into LA for a show at the Hollywood Bowl and the lounge and lux bed were the perfect end to a great evening.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay in this fun and historic hotel. Beautiful, comfortable, clean, best coffee, plus the bar and music venue downstairs make this hotel one of the best of Los Angeles! It is a must for anyone visiting LA! Can't wait for our return ! Faultless people service and room, quirky but super. Compromise on location and noise, probably suit younger folk better but us 60 somethings enjoyed our stay. We had come for a specific purpose so could not use all the lovely hospitality shown by the staff at the hotel but perhaps another time. Some really nice touches and well loved establishment.

The hotel is very chic but is above a bar and some rooms can have a bit of noise if there is a performance downstairs. Parking is a block away and is included with the room which is such a bonus for inner LA. The area does seem a bit sketchy at night but we didn't have any issues.
