For a motel 6 this is a 5 star.. All staff i encounter were beyond kind and super helpful. Even though i knew the location prior to booking, long beach is gonna long beach, regardless my daughter and i still felt 100% safe leacing early and coming home late. Close driving to shopping food ect. I will def use again when revisiting the area

I will start by saying that the front desk attendant was very nice. The room was ok for the price. But BEWARE of the area. We checked and was on the property for only a few hours when we received a call from the front desk letting me know my car had been vandalized and window busted out. My child and I had to scramble to find a new hotel at 1130 pm as I did not feel safe leaving my car on property with a busted window. This establishment needs better security measures in place to ensure their guest have a safe and pleasant experience. I should have read reviews before booking, this seems like an ongoing issue at this property

Dirty and smelled like cigarettes

I don’t want to fully bash this place but when we first checked in and started walking up towards our room, the stairs smelled like straight urine and was very dirty. Once we saw our room, it reeked like cigarettes and there was hair, holes, and huge stains all over the bedding. We checked the restroom and it was also pretty dirty and seemed like it wasn’t cleaned properly. We called and the employees were excellent and they gave us a new room. Sadly the room still felt a little dirty but wasn’t as bad as the first room. But the room service and the front desk workers were very friendly and amazing so I give so much respect there.

Decent for price, but mostly meh.

Everything was ok. Not amazing, but not terrible either. Check in was quick, no issues there. The room was fine for size and amenities. Having a separate switch for lights and fan in the bathroom would have been nice, but it wasn't a big deal. The biggest meh was the bed. It wasn't the most comfortable, and by Sunday morning I was really itchy. No bugs, so no worry about that. But it was probably caused by the brand of laundry detergent they use to clean the sheets. The other downmark was because our room keys did not work on Saturday afternoon. We went around lunch time to get food and some stuff at Target, and when we got back, our keys didn't work. I had to go back to the office to get them re-activated. The front desk said that sometimes when housekeeping goes in to clean, it deactivates the keys. Except we said no to housekeeping when they came by earlier, so not sure why they would have gone in. Either way, it's a reasonable place to stay for the price, and walkable to Dignity Health Sports Park for LA Galaxy games. But it's not an amazing place, mostly just a bed and somewhere to drop our stuff while at the soccer game.

Room was spacious, clean, strong shower, but noisy at times especially motorcycle sounds at night. No hair dryer in room but able to get one from front desk. Area is deserted at night but motel itself very well lit and always has parking available. Biggest problem was no wifi at all during our 2-night stay and staff admitted that this happened before and all they could do was turn modem off and on, which didn’t work.
