"The property is clean, the beach is beautiful, pools are nice and food was good. Had an oceanfront view which was perfect. The things that lacked for us was fridge refills every two days, if you called in between then never return unless you call. Room cleaning was mediocre if they showed up each day, never left extra toilet paper so if you run out you have to call for more. gym is small and only one treadmill and elliptical working but does the trick with weights and cable stack machines but is also quite warm and no windows shades to keep sun out. They still using towel cards and run out of towels occasionally. There is also no room service which doesn’t matter to us, always food available. Buffet is a seat yourself but the drink service was quick and the staff are always on the move and great to deal with. Sports and is 24 hours with snacks, drinks and the best coffee on the property. Checkout was odd for us, had to wait for them to check the room before we could check out. Didn’t take long (10 minutes at most) but still not something we have dealt with elsewhere. This is a 4star for us and we did have a great vacation overall. "

"We are so disappointed at the uninspired greeting we received when we arrived. The entrance is not welcoming. When we figured out where the unattended front desk was we were less than greeted. I felt like we were putting the host out. That continued as he pointed to our room and pointed to the stairs to get to the beach. That lack of service continued at dinner when the service was depressing. We felt like we should leave and go to town instead of inconveniencing the poor grumpy guy but we had been driving all day. His personality shifted from drab to rude. We wanted a treat on vacation so we were going to order a cocktail and dessert. After waiting for over an hour we left without. This place could be such a gem. The beach is so close to the expansive grounds, which are wonderful, but the opportunity was missed by bad customer service. There is no place to sit comfortably to relax with a book. The sparse chairs are extremely uncomfortable. The simple process of putting out some comfortable chairs and/or hammocks could have changed the experience. Additionally, the pool was dirty. We will not come again, which is sad because it has so much potential. I can’t leave this bad review without adding that the breakfast staff was awesome. They were friendly and did an amazing job. The food at our first dinner was good too. It was sadly overshadowed by the bad service so we did not go back. "

"The place is very well located with an incredible ocean view, however, it’s not well maintained. I staid there 2 nights and I could not use any of the pools as they were dirty. You could see the filth resting at the bottom. Also, the mattress was old and it had a very noticeable indentation that made it uncomfortable. It is a beautiful place, but it lacks major maintenance."

"The rooms are very close to the hotel beach bar/club and they play music very loud, until 4am on our first night (last night of carnival) and 1am on other nights. It starts again at 10am in the morning so if you’d like to join the club 18-30 experience drinking around the pool while listening to thudding bass all day then this might be the place for you. If you’d like it a little quieter and with a basic level of competence (we had to chase for room cleaning, including emptying the open top toilet bin, they seem to regard it as an extra) then don’t stay here. We would have left after the first night if it was refundable. Hotel looks stylish, though rooms are small, location is great (right on the beach) and staff friendly- no mean feat given the number of guests furiously complaining each day. but there are much better options nearby."

"Fantastic place to stay. Everything was premium. Bed was spectacular left after two years feeling super replaced. Would recommend highly. "
