"The property is very well equipped and in a beautiful location, really quiet and peaceful with lots of amazing wildlife to spot.Lovely pool area and gardens, hosts Nadine and Jean Luc were excellent, with great communication and they even presented me with a cake and candle, as we arrived at the property on my birthday!Overall, a fantastic holiday that has created a lifetime of memories, thank you."

"Private, quiet, unpretentious but lots of history around the property. We spent most of our time alternating between the lovely pool and the cool of the house. Big family meals and parties. Although there were 20 of us the house rarely seems full. Highly recommend."

It did not disappoint; excellent and helpful staff, brilliant location with an easy walk to the old city, a private secure car park, quiet comfortable room, and a good breakfast. And an excellent value! Our stay in Bergerac was very pleasant thanks to the Hotel de Bordeaux. "

"This is a very central hotel, and at first glance is very much in the traditional mould. However everything is modern, comfortable and works. There's even a pool and the breakfast was very good. The parking is limited but there's (paid) public parking right outside. Overall very good value for money."

"This is a lovely little hotel in a quiet area of Bergerac but very close to the railway station. My room was very comfortable and clean with a good bathroom that was also very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is very good. I would definitely stay there again."

"Whilst this was only an overnight stay, we were so impressed that we are already planning our next trip to include the La Gambetta. Perfectly located in the centre of Bergerac, with everything you need within a very short stroll, there's not much more you could ask for. Fantastic service and attention."

"Wonderful place to stay with family.The pool and huge garden were great for the kids (well, for everyone really!).Lovely outdoor spaces and a great barbecue.Kitchen and dining area are large and very well equipped.Bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable with nice towels and linens provided.Lounge area was large and comfortable - but all of the outdoor space is so lovely we hardly spent any time inside.Tracy is a great host - very helpful and easy to communicate with.Recommend Le Peyrat very very highly!"

"Booked a room for seven nights, but checked out after the first night. It was incredibly hot that week, around 105 degrees. The room had no air conditioning, or fans. The windows could not be open during the evening because there were no screens in the windows and with the mosquitoes and bats flying around that was not an option. It was cooler outside than in the room. When I decided to check out the following day the staff were apologetic, but there was nothing they could do. The resort, as of now has not offered a refund for the remaining six nights."
