「Very clean. Loved the tub. Nice to have owners close/on site. Much better than dealing with a "rental company". Very spacious without feeling like wasted space. Just and FYI, if you're coming in winter, pay attention to the weather. The driveway can be a little dicey with snow. 」

「The Captain’s Cabin was charming, beautifully decorated, and VERY comfy! Jan and Tammy certainly went above and beyond with communication and treats including Christmas cookies! Our stay was just an overnight so we did not get a chance to appreciate the outdoor activities that the cabin grounds allowed (lake, stream, canoeing)…. Maybe we need a return trip?We would highly recommend the Captain’s Cabin. Beautifully maintained, very clean, well appointed, and it is just like sleeping in a movie...

「The property is beautiful. It was a nice getaway with family and a fun time playing games in the barn with the kids. One recommendation, the pans need replacing. They were pretty scratched up. That can cause health concerns and misproper cooking of food.」

「We really enjoyed our stay at Oak Lodge. Judi, was a great host and made sure our stay truly felt like vacation. Communication was great. The Oak Lodge is a special place, rich with history and charm. Very convenient location when visiting local distilleries. We would definitely book again. 」
