Family Stay

This house is absolutely beautiful and so well stocked. If you are looking for a house that feels like you are on the bourbon trail this is the house for you. Plus it was so clean and had everything we need including a crock pot to cook dinner. The property managers communicate very well and were very kind.

Kentucky Derby

My husband and I plus two other couples stayed here for the Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby. The house is very updated and very comfortable and had plenty of room for 6 of us. The house was in walking distance to many restaurants. We had such an amazing trip will be returning to this location for future Derby stays.

One of the BEST we’ve ever stayed at!!

The property was impeccable!! Everything you need is already there, the cleanliness was top notch and communication was excellent. Had a slight hiccup with the VRBO reservation and the host jumped right in and solved the problem to complete satisfaction. Will only look to book this place next time in the area. Many thanks to the host for a beautiful stay and gracious service!! Five stars is not enough rating, this place deserves ten!!

Absolutely Perfect!

The location was great! Within walking distance to restaurants and a great park. Had a beautiful, spacious fenced in back yard - perfect for my 4 year old! House provided a bunch of board games and outdoor games. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had EVERYTHING! Owner was super responsive and helpful!

Amazing All Around (home, location, service)

We just completed a 4 night stay at Bourbon Trail Central and had an amazing trip. Everything was just right - in fact beyond our expectations. The house felt like a home, beds were comfortable and the kitchen was the best stocked annd organized we’ve ever experienced in a rental. Outside deck was a perfect way to unwind after a busy day on the trail (for a drink, grill for dinner and plenty of comfortable seating)! Location is central - literally the perfect spot to get downtown Louisville, south to Bardstown and East to Frankfort and Lexington - location does matter! And last but certainly not least was the service Brandon provided (before and during our stay) - super helpful, professional, prompt, and really wanted us to enjoy our first time in KY. Not only would I recommend Bourbon Trail Central, I would recommend working with Brandon on whatever your needs may be (he has several homes). We will be back soon!

My brother, nephew, and I stayed here during Bourbon and Beyond music festival. This place was immaculate and the renovation was well done. The quality of the materials and decor was top notch. The kitchen was well stocked with whatever you may need for cooking. In the living room, you have a glowing fire with just a push of a button. Nice ambiance! The backyard was equipped with 2 patio dining tables and chairs, a seating area with a gas fire, and a grill. It was nice to sit outside and relax. The beds , oh the beds were so comfy! Brandon, our host, was receptive and quick to respond to any needs. I highly recommend booking this!

Enjoyed our time at this house immensely! My honest rating is a 4.5 stars as all aspects of the house and contact with the host was great but the location (access to everywhere was perfect) being on a corner lot meant lots of traffic so you get to hear a lot of cars and radios going by. This didn’t detract from the great backyard space at the house as you can’t see the traffic, just hear it. Plenty of outdoor seating and fire pit was perfect to sit around in the evening. There was space enough in the house that our family of 7 all had spaces to sleep, be away from each other, room to eat together, and watch movies together. The check-in/out process was easy as could be and communication with the host was quick and concerns handled immediately. Everything we needed was provided for and we were able to utilize the well stocked kitchen daily feeling like we were still at home. If we are ever in the area again I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!!
