Welcome to our home. We live in a quiet neighborhood and on a no thru street access. Parking enough for four to five vehicles, When you arrive, make yourself at home in a warm friendly atmosphere and where everything is easily accessible, a stones throw from historic downtown Jeffersontown, KY and the Gaslight District and minutes from downtown Louisville.
Free shuttle from and return to airport is available for your convenience or take and pick you up at any event if you don't want the hassle of driving, parking or contacting UBER, LYFT or a Taxi. You decide. We are 1.7 miles from a Kroger (King Soopers) grocery store, .06 miles from a Walmart Neighborhood Grocery Store, gas stations, 2 liquor stores, 3 pizza restaurants that deliver, Mexican, Chinese, Japanese, Italian restaurants, and more. We are close to 4 parks where you can enjoy an afternoon or evening to picnic, take a stroll, feed the ducks, enjoy the scenery, music venues in the park, 4th Street Live events. baseball at the Slugger Field and museum, Churchill Downs races or try your bets at Keeneland in Versailles, KY, just an hour's drive from here. Vahalla Golf Course is 3.3 miles and is open for all, but check for events schedule. Bourbon Tours are always a hit. Mammoth Cave is about a 2 hour drive and a must see adventure. Please let me know in advance if you plan on going to any of these venues and need a shuttle to take you and return home to any of these venues.
You'll be able to access the entire upstairs, main level and back yard. We have an up to date tuned baby grand piano if you wish to tickle the ivories. If you need to wash clothes, the laundry room is handy and next to the kitchen with detergents and softeners for your convenience.
The kitchen has a Bunn coffee maker with warming pitcher, regular and decaf coffee provided, condiments and filters are supplied. A side by side refrigerator-freezer, glass cook top stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher and garbage disposal, and a large fully stocked pantry with spices, flour, sugar, Bisquick, etc. Please check what is available before grocery shopping. There is a plethora of cooking equipment for you to use if you wish to do your own cooking. I also like to cook and if you'd like for me to cook either breakfast or dinner on a certain day of your choosing, please let me know a day or two ahead of time.

The dining room seats up to eight, and table converts from a square to a round table. Dishes, mugs, glasses, wine glasses, etc. and range from china to paper plates if you don't want to do dishes . In the living room there is a gas fireplace with a controller to warm up on a cold winter day/evening and a baby grand piano if you wish to tickle the ivories to your heart's delight and music books. In the master bath, relax in the Jacuzzi after a hard day of play and while laying in bed, enjoy the electric fireplace that looks like the real thing with full controls of degree of heat or turn off the heat, set the timer and enjoy the ambiance before you fall asleep with sweet dreams of the fun time you had that day. Three other bedrooms share the guest bathroom.
The backyard is large enough for a small reception and plenty of comfortable seating available as well as a large gas grill with a cooking burner. Enjoy a cup of coffee, tea or juice in the morning and listen to birds or in the evening visiting with the family over dinner or a glass of wine. The deck box has seating pads for your comfort couple of children's deck chairs. Deck furniture consists of 6 patio furniture chairs, 60" round table with umbrella and 2 Adirondack chairs. The home is available for short or long-term rental as well. If you're needing a month or more rental, there's a large reduction. Just request a quote. Available to rent one, two bedrooms or the entire home. Please feel free to ask for quote or availability.
