“If you're looking for a lovely authentic Cretan experience, I can highly recommend staying at the Amazing Stone Villa. Yiannis and Mary, the owners, were both lovely and welcoming. Maria's Tavern is a must if you stay. We enjoyed climbing near Kapetaniana and Agiofarango. ”

“Thalori is incredible - the best part of our trip to Crete. It's very peaceful and far from nearby towns, so if you're a fan of places like Matala, you probably will not enjoy Thalori.
