Relaxing Haven

We arrived and were met by a very helpful duo who explained all about the property and the neighbourhood. The house is in excellent condition and beautifully clean and tidy. 3 couples stayed for a week and found it very comfortable. As we were riding most days we only had breakfast and snacks before dinner, but the kitchen is well equipped with all necessary things. We made good use of the coffee machine as well as the washer and dryer. The swimming pool and outdoor areas are great for a little relaxation. The house is about a kilometre from the little town, so we walked down most evenings for dinner...it is very convenient. All agreed we had a very pleasant stay thanks to the owners for all their care.

Beautiful property close to village of Lourmarin

Our group of 8 stayed at this property for two weeks and had a fabulous time . The villa is exactly as it appears in the photos , and on arrival we found it to be very clean and well maintained. We had a couple of small issues which the owners dealt with immediately , and which did not impact our stay at all . The area where the villa is located is quiet and peaceful , but its a short drive or pleasant walk into the village . We enjoyed lazy afternoons by the pool , and nightly games of ping pong and Petanque. The accommodation is very comfortable and spacious , and well equipped . The village of Lourmarin is beautiful and has several nice restaurants, shops , and an excellent weekly market . Overall this property is in a great location to use as a base to explore Provence and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We would have no hesitation in booking this property again. The owners were great to deal with all the way through , from the booking process to the check in and beyond. They even had a welcome gift of wine and other Provencal goodies for us to enjoy .

tres belle villa

on a séjourné 9 jours dans la La Bastide Blanche en famille de 5. La villa est parfaite pour une famille, 4 belles chambres bien équipées de salle de bains, air conditionné etc. La villa est bien ombragée pour les journées chaudes d'été, la grande piscine est tres belle et parfaite. Elle est tres bien équipée avec tout le confort nécessaire. Elle est a un peu moins de 1km du village dans un clos privatif, 10-15 min de marche.

Wat een heerlijke vakantie! Het vakantiehuis was : stijlvol ingericht, comfortabel en perfect gelegen op wandelafstand van het sfeervolle dorp Lourmarin. We voelden ons er meteen thuis. De tuin en het terras waren ideaal om te genieten van de Provençaalse zon, al hadden een paar parasols het helemaal afgemaakt. Maar zelfs zonder extra schaduw was het puur genieten — van de rust, de natuur en de charme van de omgeving. Lourmarin heeft gezellige cafés, leuke winkeltjes en een authentieke sfeer. Onze vakantie was meer dan geslaagd

Perfect house. Perfect location

The facilitys of the house is well in the high class standart. Well equipt kitchen. There are places for dinning inside and outside. All that comes with a temperature controled swimming pool. The location of the house just 1 km from the center of Lourmarin vilage make all servises accesable. The supermarket is a 5 minutes drive.

Un excellent séjour à Lourmarin

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans cette villa. Nous avons été accueilli chaleureusement par les propriétaires. La villa est très bien située et l'intérieur est très bien aménagé. La piscine chauffée à environ 27 ° nous a permis de nous baigner tous les jours malgré une semaine assez venteuse et des températures sous les 20°. Les propriétaires sont toujours disponibles et à l'écoute. En résumé nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans un cadre qui correspond tout à fait à ce qui est présenté dans l'annonce.

Chic and comfortable!

The perfect base in Provence

The photos of this villa are beautiful, but you have to stay here to appreciate it fully. The quality of the beds, the bedding, the quality of the towels, pool towels, loungers etc are all of the highest standard. The owners are ultra professional and have built this villa to a standard and not to a budget. We normally stay in high end hotels to ensure our need are met, but this villa surpassed our expectations in every way. The lovely location in the village of Lourmarin is a bonus.

Wonderful modern home near beautiful Lourmarin

We just returned from a family vacation in Provence celebrating our 30th anniversary. The owners of the home were warm and welcomed us with an unexpected bottle of champagne for our anniversary. The home was as advertised. It was very contemporary, clean, well equipped and comfortable. The beds were cozy, the bathrooms were modern with roomy showers. The grounds were striking- the back yard had an old olive tree, flowers and large patio overlooking the pool. The large outdoor table was perfect for lunch gatherings. The house is a short ride or within walking distance of the village. Lourmarin is a wonderful and charming village with many good cafes. The Friday market was definitely a highlight and should not be missed. The home was well situated to explore not only scenic Lourmarin but also the many other hilltop villages within Luberon. We highly recommend this beautiful house and this memorable area!

Geweldige en luxe woning, het ontbreekt aan niets! Heerlijke slaapkamers met fijne bedden en aangrenzende natuurstenen badkamers, complete keuken met Amerikaanse koelkast en genoeg servies, fijn (verwarmd) zwembad. Erg schoon, fijn terras, zowel met schaduw als overdekt met buitenkeuken.

Merveilleux séjour

La maison est tout à fait conforme à l'annonce voire mieux. Les espaces sont vastes, bien conçus et remarquablement décorés. Tout est très propre et fonctionnel. Le jardin et la piscine sont très agréables. Les environs sont très calmes et paisibles. Les propriétaires nous ont offert leur disponibilité mais sont restés très discrets. Bref, nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans cette magnifique région, un peu trop bref... Nous y retournerons, Sylvette et Marc

Wonderful villa, fantastic hosts!

We had an absolutely amazing time in Lourmarin thanks to this beautiful and well-equipped villa and the kindness of our hosts. We had kids and in-laws staying with us and the place never seemed crowded, the pool was lovely and the outdoor space (and inside) very well organized and arranged. It's all you dream of when living Provencal life! Special thanks to Arnaud, Laurence and Thierry's son for going with my husband to Pertuis to help us get our rental car replaced - he let us borrow his phone and we were able to get this issue resolved within a day thanks to the quick response of Laurence and the kindness of this whole family. We really hope to return next summer - this is paradise - thank you!

Superbe maison

Nous avons passé un charmant séjour dans cette belle demeure, profitant un maximum des excellente commodités: une très belle maison lumineuse, dotée d'un confort adéquat et d'une très belle décoration! La piscine à dimensions généreuses, les espaces de détente et la plancha nous ont incités à profiter de l'endroit: tout y respire calme, sérénité et harmonie. Aussi la proximité du centre de Lourmarin, accessible à pied sans problème, est un réel plus sans pour autant ressentir l'excitation journalière des visiteurs venus contempler cet agréable endroit . Nous ne voudrions pas oublier l'excellent accueil qui nous a été réservé. Laurence et Thierry sont toujours présents si nécessaire, mais avec beaucoup de discrétion. Nous recommandons vivement cette demeure!

nous sommes un groupe d'amis qui partons souvent et pratiquons ce type de location et c'est la première fois que nous sommes aussi satisfait la prestation proposée est au top les propriétaires sont charmants discrets et très sympatiques nous ne pouvons que les féliciter et les encourager car ils mettent beaucoup de coeur et d'énergie pour satisfaire leurs locataires si nous revenons dans la région nous irons d'office chez eux bravo!
