"Over all house was good. The communication on the VRBO website was good and the communications with the property manager on the day of our stay was helpful and timely. We just feel like the building, inside and out, could use a little TLC."

"Cabin 7 was the perfect spot for a couples getaway Up North. The porch turned out to be our favorite spot for relaxing, eating and enjoying the view. We slept comfortably and loved the view of a midnight thunderstorm from the loft bedroom. The bonus of having the pontoon available was great! Having Powell’s restaurant just steps away was also nice."

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stay with a large group of family members(multiple cabins rented) It was nice to each have our own “living quarters”. The pontoon was a great addition. We didn’t spend much time per se inside since it was a beautiful week of weather. Downfall that there were some dirty dishes left, a little more attention to dust removal and checking under the furniture for misc stuff left behind by renter’s previous.But overall it was a good place to land with our family to build mememories."

"We really enjoyed our time at the Hayward Cabin! Lots of fish were caught - our 5 year old grandson was so excited to catch SOOOO many fish. The home and outdoor space was perfect for our extended family.The only reason "how accurate was the property listing" was was lower was because the photos didn't begin to show the extent of the hanging taxidermy animals (we had lots of explaining to do with the 2 grandkids).Thanks Dave we had a wonderful time at your cabin.Ann"

"We had a very enjoyable stay and especially appreciated the great gathering spaces.We were a group of 10 siblings and spouses enjoying our annual reunion. Mike was very quick to respond to any questions.This was a Northwoods Grand Lodge experience, only wished we had been able to spend more time."

"Overall we had a great time. We absolutely loved that the lot is flat with the lake. Not having to walk up and down steep steps is a huge plus of this property. There were some minor things that need attention, but for the price, our families were happy."
