“My husband and myself were celebrating our two year wedding anniversary. This place was exactly as listed. Clean and very quaint. Super comfortable. Perfect for what we needed. We fished right off the pier. The owner was super nice and greeted us. We will definitely be going back. Every one we encountered was super friendly. Local eats were delicious. Beautiful scenery.”

“We stayed at cedarhousetx for my daughter’s SHSU graduation. The house was the perfect size for our 4 adults. Everything is current. The house has an older vibe, but with all the latest and best tech. The bathtub is incredible, it may be worth a trip to Huntsville just for the claw foot tub. Lots of deck area for entertaining, and it has an immaculately cared for propane grill. There is a turntable with some vinyl records available to help set the mood. The hosts were beyond accommodating, and……

“Olive place is absolutely lovely. Nestled on a cul-de-sac the area is beautiful trees and quiet, very close to Sam Houston state. The house has everything you need. Updated amenities with great showers and spacious kitchen. We had a great time!”

“Beautiful house. Fishing was poor. Storms, flooding and Heavy Rain forced us leave one day early. No TV reception. A partial refund would be welcomed.”

“Awesome property with amazing hosts. My wife and I had a great stay at this property. Beautiful scenery, cool creek area to kayak some depending on water levels, wooded trails to walk, friendly goats and chickens (we got to help feed the baby goats which was an unexpected bonus), and overall laid back feel while not being to far from anything. The host(s) were more than helpful with any questions. Very kind, personable, and down to earth. Even gave us some fresh eggs to eat which are……

“Our stay was great, the place was very clean, and easy to access. The down sides of the place like low water pressure is mostly like due to the location of the property, i highly doubt the owners can do anything about it. We were unable to connect to the wifi to watch tv or anything, but when we contacted the owners they responded very quick and tried to have it fixed but it didn't work. But the effort was there. Over all the stay was great and everyone enjoyed the stay while we were there.”

“House was immaculate and very quaint. We wish the weather had been better for sitting on the porch. Close enough to small towns for some great food and far enough away to feel like you were really remote. Gravel and dirt roads to the property. Half bath is outside for ease of access when you are outside. Would definitely stay again!”

“It was quiet and we felt safe. Trying to contact the host or customer service agent for verbo was impossible. We had trouble locating the cabin. Thank God for.the the friendly people that live in Kennard and Crockett who so helpful in letting us know where the cabin was.”

“The room was very clean and bed was nice and firm. My only issue, was that I checked in at 12:30am. The a/c in the room was off and I had no clue it would take so long to cool down. Got tired of waiting after 2 hours and just went to sleep. Was much cooler when I woke up. I'll stay again, but this time I'm calling ahead to ensure the a/c is on!”
