"I was hesitant about staying on the island due to the reviews however, I pulled the plug and WOW what an amazing experience in so many ways! I fell in love with the hotel, the island, its people, the staff. Truly beautiful and lively experience. Particularly at night when all the tourists were mostly gone it felt like just for a moment I was at home. This experienced truly ignited a spark in me to take a leap and finally transition back to where my ancestors were born in France and Spain. "This was our base during our visit to Normandy. Located in a central location to restaurants and shopping, it was a lovely historic hotel. There was no air conditioning, but there was a fan - which was great. Staff was courteous and helped with all our questions. Taxis are readily available to get to the train station. Will stay there again should we ever find ourselves in Bayeux. Exactly as described. "

"Great stay to explore Normandie. The breakfast spread was amazing. We had the family suite, 2 levels and very private. Bathroom and cups/dishes could be a bit cleaner, otherwise the rooms, bedding were all great. Free night parking right outside. Felt very safe at the marina. "
