「We had a wonderful stay at Ferme de la Rançonnière and would absolutely recommend it. The property is beautiful, full of history, and very well maintained. Our room was comfortable, the grounds were peaceful, and the staff were warm and welcoming. The location is perfect for exploring the Normandy landing beaches while still enjoying a quiet countryside setting. Breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant was also very good. 「When we arrived the owner greeted us and showed us to a lovely room we had booked, we only stayed the one night en route to our holiday destination and found the room clean and very comfortable . we were given lots of local information to find a bistro in the local town of Aunay sur Odon. The breakfast was well received and presented in a pleasant manner by Thom who was charming . we will have to come again next year and well worth a visit especially for a qiuck over night and as in our case...

Noise could be heard from outside hotel (guests watch TV, horses at vet clinic) and inside (kids on a field trip enjoying the next room over!) Adequate, but nothing special.」

「We decided on this hotel because of the excellent rating on Expedia. Unfortunately it did not live up to expectations. We stayed in one of the family rooms. There appeared to be some water damage and what I assume was black mold in the bathroom. The entire room smelt like mildew. The beds were also quite hard and the pillows lumpy and uncomfortable.
