“This is a great whole home property that offers a lot of easy trip options. There is a super cute small downtown that is a good spot for breakfast / shopping. There is a grocery store super close to the house and the kitchen is well equipped for any meal. The home has no AC but did provide fans. The back yard and deck are spacious but we spent most of our time traveling. This is a great location for families looking to maximize ability to hit Peggy’s Cove as well as down to Crescent Beach and……

“Lived in Mahone Bay for a while in 1981. Still such a picturesque town and beautiful coastline to explore.The lovely unit of Pam and David’s was clean, comfortable, quiet and beautifully decorated. Fully equipped kitchen, short walk to the main town. Private and elegant, parking, good Wifi, felt like home. Wish we could have stayed longer than 2 nights.”

“A week at the Hilltop Retreat was great…a month would have been better. This quaint little cottage provided a cozy but plentiful space for our family of four. We enjoyed the large, open yard, with plenty of room for outdoor activities, and the beautiful ocean view while sitting and drinking coffee every morning. We made great use of the golf clubs, kayaks and bicycles. The cottage provided a great base for us while we explored the south shore. We hope to visit again very soon!”

“We go away every summer with another couple and have been to a number of properties in the Maritime region.This property was exceptional! Spotless and stocked with all of the essentials and then some! Plenty of dishes, cutlery, towels, bedding etc. The extra kitchen supplies were a great addition.The property offers a great indoor layout (bright and spacious), great outdoor seating spaces and views. “We enjoyed our stay at the apple orchard cottage. The house was spacious and had lots of character. Natasha was quick to respond to any questions I had. Only comment as others have mentioned was that we did find it hot upstairs while sleeping. Thankfully Natasha has a big standing fan in each room which helped somewhat. The location was fantastic being just a short drive into Lunenburg and other south shore locations including the Lahave ferry to enjoy the shops and bakery there. We also enjoyed……

“We had a very relaxing stay at Knotting Hill in August 2025. The host’s warm hospitality and special thoughtful touches were apparent leading up to and throughout our stay. Our 8 year old daughter noticed right away 2 Hardy Boys mysteries on the bookshelf and set to read both before we left. We played board games, enjoyed morning coffee and evening stargazing on the deck, grilled and enjoyed seeing so many deer in the yard during our stay.There was plenty of local information in the house to……
