"great location, right by the train station that goes to the nfl stadium. the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. they have snacks and drinks at the front that are complimentary. the room is small but the perfect size. room includes a full size fridge, stove top, microwave. the room was modern and clean. you have to take out the trash on your own but it was fine because it is a big garbage bin. "

"Celeste is an amazing boutique hotel that will go out of its way to make your stay special. Their breakfast is exceptional, the linens crisp, and the overall vibe is holier than thou. :) You’ll enjoy! I promise!"

"I like the hotel because it is old school. Room was clean and neat. Bed was comfortable. Everything in the bathroom worked just fine. It was nice having a coffee maker in the room. I even liked that they supplied a stack of magazines to read. St. Paul Grill has excellent food. Rug in our room was a bit threadbare and I wish they had self parking."

"This is always my go-to hotel when staying in St. Paul. The hotel is always clean. The staff is friendly. They have a shuttle service if you’re going to concerts at Grand Casino Arena. It’s in a great location. The hotel is nice and quiet. The breakfast bar is always well stocked and has good food. I also enjoy that they have snack items for purchase at the front desk area. Overall, it’s my favorite hotel and I always enjoy my stay."

"Upon arriving at the hotel it was a surprise to find there was no self parking available, no parking garage. Valet parking was the only available on site parking. Very confusing at first so driving around in busy traffic and rainfall with a busy pull up to hotel. I did not see any information about the lack of a parking garage in the hotel information to create awareness. Once in the process valet assistance was great. Our check in was smooth but arriving in our room we found a room so small in the corner of the floor we were assigned to. Our biggest issue was the inability to change the room temperature. There was a thermostat control on the wall but it attempting to change the temperature was useless. We left for the evening and came back late so we did not feel we could call front desk for maintenance assistance. Some people may not mind sleeping with temperatures in the mid 70 degrees, but sleep was almost impossible for us who like to sleep cooler. Made for a miserable night. "

"Just simple stuff, like is the room on the first, second or third floor, if a person has a quest and they have a difficultly with stairs that could be a deal breaker: “It should be posted” that the unit in question is on whatever floor…"

"Rude, unhelpful, unkind, unempathetic, unfriendly, lacking patience, rushing to get out of there for the night —front desk person. Worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel, ever."
