Rural peace and quiet...

We had a wonderful week. Communication beforehand was great and nothing was too much trouble. If youre looking for bright lights and busyness this is not it - though its only a car journey away. The pool about a minute's walk down the path was beautiful. The cottage was clean and contained everything we needed. Would return.

Charming rural cottage but with easy access to lots of amenities.

We had an amazing week in Lozay, the cottage is well equipped and has loads of character. We especially loved the little walled courtyard eating area. At night it lit up like a secret garden. Just gorgeous!!!!! I would definitely recommend the region, Saint Jean is a charming market town with a lovely local market on a Wednesday and Saturday morning. We also visited La Rochelle and Fouras. There was also a beautiful heated pool with surrounding garden to chill out in. Just lovely with a glass of wine .

Zeer rustige cottage

Schattig Frans cottage in een zeer rustig dorpje. Prachtig zwembad, alleen niet naast het huisje. Je moet een klein stukje lopen om er te komen. Bij t zwembad zit een grote tuin met ligbedden en tafel met 4 stoelen. De tuin wordt omringt door huizen, niet echt privé. Omdat t zo rustig is, weinig bewoners, dus dat is geen probleem. In de omgeving kan je prima fietsen. Maar lopen is geen goed idee, omdat het te rustig is, en je loopt op een klein weggetje. Verder de hostess is heel vriendelijk, goede communicatie bij mail. Er wordt gezegd dat er een sleutelkastje met pincode is, maar dat klopt niet. De deur is los. WiFi en wachtwoord kloppen niet. Wanneer je dus wilt genieten van de rust met een prachtig zwembad moet je hier zijn. Golfbanen genoeg op 30/50 min rijden.

Un bout de verdure reposant

Joli cottage dans un coon de campagne très calme et reposant. A savoir si vous venez avec de jeunes enfants ou votre chien : le jardin entièrement clos avec la piscine est situé 50 mètres plus bas et n est pas attenant au logement. Par ailleurs la campagne francaise necessite bien entendu d etre motorisé. Un Havre de paix qui fut une belle découverte.

Vous allez vous en profiter dans cette adorable ancienne maison ! tout est fait pour rendre votre séjour agréable et confortable. Loin de la cohue du monde et pourtant à moins d'une heure en voiture de La Rochelle, tranquillité-bonheur-famille on en redemande !

De belles vacances a Lozay

Le gite est situé dans un lieu agréable,calme et ensoleillé.De nombreuses balades et excursions sont accessibles facilement.Joanna et ses parents nous ont bien accueillis et partagés la piscine chauffée! Il faut noter que cette location n'est pas adaptée aux personnes ayant des problèmes pour se déplacer.Les chambres et les toilettes sont au 1er étage et l'escalier pour y accéder est très raide. La télévision ne diffuse que les chaines anglaises....à savoir pour les touristes francais!
