A cosy boutique stay feeling as if time slipped with a Luanprabahab old charm. Staff were kind and natural, making it feel like returning to an old house. Only wish the door knobs were easier to open and the AC a bit quieter.

This is a classic hotel with lovely rooms and grounds. It's very peaceful and just close enough to walk to Luang Prabang's main attractions. Highly recommended hotel.

Lovely hotel oozing old world charm

The hotel is about 5 minutes, on bicycle provided by the hotel, away from the old town centre which is in itself the cultural heartland of Laos. The hotel is nestled in lush tropical vegetation. Given its age the hotel has been maintained to a very high standard and oozes old world charm. The staff are all very helpful and the food is excellent - try the Lao omelette for breakfast.

Amazing experience!

This is the most amazing and luxurious place I have ever stayed. It is magical and feels like an oasis. Dao, the manager, is fabulous and helped us with a transportation challenged. The spa, restaurant, rooms, and staff are fabulous.

I highly recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to dive in an authentic interiors and place with soul. The hotel is beautifully arranged, the garden is exceptional the pools great and relaxing. It is extremely quiet and safe. The staff is always there to answer every question and help with every issue. The restaurant is delicious and serve a wide range of traditional food. I really enjoyed the stay and would come back again without hesitation.

Outstanding experience in LP

We are not ones to write reviews but after 4 nights at the Satri House we decided to open an exception to share with others that this is the place to be in LB. From the moment we arrived, to the moment where we sadly had to leave we felt as the hotel was somewhat a home we've been to many times before, and they new us and how we enjoyed being treated. The building is beautiful, provides a real sense of place and time, and the staff outstanding, the GM was attentive and present ensuring the guests were well cared for and providing great recommendations on what to do and see. We will surely be back.

During a 3 month tour of South East Asia we stayed at Satri House for 6 nights - easily the best hotel experience of our trip, hands down. The grounds are beautiful and immaculate, the rooms full of charm, comfort and all the amenities you’d expect. However what takes Satri House to the next level is the people-every person we met, from the gardener, front desk staff, restaurant staff, spa staff to the hotel manager - the in person experience was exceptional-every person was professional but simultaneously present, thoughtful and kind. Certainly a tribute to the owners, management and the Laotian culture-we didn’t want to leave. Can’t wait to return!!

Wonderful boutique hotel nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the town. Secret garden vibes and a great getaway while in Luang Prabang. It’s colonial style so don’t expect all the modern amenities although I do wish there were gym facilities. I do highly recommend!

I have stayed at other five star properties in Luang Prabang, and this property is the best, not only in beauty, but in-service, cleanliness, and dining. The staff and food were amazing. The hotel has beautiful antiques and rare objects de arts with pieces of history scattered throughout it. You get a sense of times gone by making you feel like you are living as a guest of the former king. I have traveled extensively. It is a very unique property, probably one of the best in the world.

リラックスできる素晴らしいホテルでした。特にプールサイドのベッドでいい感じにまったりできます。夜のバーも最高です。朝ごはんも最高でした。スタッフの方も親切で、お客といい距離感で接してくれます。 観光よりもホテルでゆっくりすることにもっと時間を使えば良かったと思います。もう一度ルアンパバーンに行く機会があったら、また利用したいです！
