"I would like to thank the staff for their kindness and helpfulness in every respect- they sorted out an early check-in for me on my arrival day, they helped me with my luggage down the steps and went out of their way to make me welcome.
The amenities of the hotel are basically good- a spacious room with a nice big desk and a good shower. However, the rooms are dated- room got very hot and seemed to need air-conditioning even when weather outside was not hot. I had to ask for the wash-basin to be unblocked. The chrome tap was corroded and didn't gleam. The carpet was old and shabby - not sure when it had last been cleaned. Good internet connection, but room didn't have up-to-date electrics, such as USB sockets.
The breakfast was ample and delicious.
The location at the top of Lubartowska is far from the historic centre- a 20 minute walk. Had to take an Uber to get back late at night.
The hotel is within the historic Lublin Yeshiva and is used by many Jewish groups . It is the only location in Lublin where it is possible to obtain kosher food. So the hotel is performing an important function. Some rooms are currently being updated. It would be good if funds permitted a more general upgrade."
