「We loved our stay, the Cottage was very clean and right next to the lake (across the street). Plus there was a Marsh within walking that had many water birds and wildlife. The location is about 15 minutes from Port Clinton and Catawba Island. I highly recommend if you're looking for a quiet getaway close to the lake.」

「Great little place. Very clean, comfy with nice decor. Great location close to downtown and Lake Erie. Cat friendly which was why I initially chose this property (I have a cat requiring medications 2x daily). Provided all the necessities. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you」

「The rooms were clean— supplies were just as owners stated Parking was as stated We had a pleasant stay」

「Great value for money and perfect for a stay for a group of weary travelers. The house had everything we needed including comfortable beds and nice linens!」

「Kind and very responsive host. Great location close to dining and local attractions. Clean and comfortable lodging. The only draw back is parking, which is across the street from the property. When shuffling luggage and children, cars passing quickly by can make this process stressful. However this is not the property owners fault, but more so an fyi.」

「Just a 10 min walk from downtown. Perfectly quiet but close to everything.」

「Our hosts were wonderful and responsive. This was our second year to stay with them.We truly enjoyed our stay and plan on coming back again next year.」

「The cottage is cute and in a community of lakeside cottages. It is convenient to local attractions including restaurants, farmers markets a brewery, the ferry to Lake Erie Islands, and a beautiful beach. I personally don't like renting places with other people's food left in the cupboards and the refrigerator. The living room furniture is old and very uncomfortable. The rugs in the living room are dangerous with lumps under the rugs that cause tripping.」

「Everything was great!」

「A really beautiful place. Watched a doe and her spotted fawn walk along the river bank last evening. Peaceful and comfortable. Very kind hosts. My third stay and I hope to be back next month.」

「Lovely place for family」

「Rustic for my taste. Great location. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Only improvement I would make is to add night lights on each floor and near the rest room as it is very dark. Enjoyed our stay.」

「This was a girls weekend, just a quick getaway. The property was exactly as advertised! The beach was very close as well as restaurants and grocery stores. The house included all amenities you need. We just brought clothes and groceries! We would stay again!」

「Very quiet location with all the amenities we needed. Will be back!」

「Had a great stay at this property.」

「The host was wonderful and the house was clean.」

「Great place for young family.」

「The house is so cute! Located on a canal off of the Portage River. The place was clean and so beautifully decorated. All of the beds were comfortable. We came for a family vacation with our boat. We have a 23 ft center console. The dock space was great would just add cleats. We did have to radio the railroad bridge to open to make it out to lake. Channel 14 for anyone else who may need that. The sign was hard to read. The garage space that is used for additional living area and game...
