“We had a quick stay for an early flight the next morning. The staff was very friendly and helpful with whatever we needed and kindly offered to prepare breakfast for us in the morning. I wouldn’t stay at this property again in the future though due to a few uncomforts. Their dogs barked during the night, waking us up. There was a bright light next door that illuminated our room. The windows are shutter style glass that don’t keep out the hot exterior air. They have a window mounted air……

“As a road warrior over decades, I have seen good and bad, but I have rarely seen the attentiveness of the staff such as here at the Grand Resort. Always pleasant but exceptionally helpful. I had an emergency shoe repair needed for my only dress pair, and it was late on a Sunday when it was identified. The staff worked out where to get glue, sent a courier, and within an hour it was repaired. Incredible! I have literally never seen anything like it. The next day my meeting ran late, and……

“The staff is friendly most of the time. The best person was Daisi, kitchen area and the morning chef, Mr. Ellis and Daisi always had an smile on her face and make me feel at home. The place is beautiful very clean, needs new furniture but everything was very nice, we will go back when we can. David was very nice too.”

“I loved it all. The river view, pool, bar, restaurant, service, and how kind and sweet everyone were. I loved the location, the peace and tranquility it brought to my life. Which was much need for an Emergency Room RN. When I arrived I was greeted my a wonderful young man, he was kind and very pleasant. This world needs more people like.him in it. “The staff was so welcoming and helpful. The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. This is a very low key place with a nice outdoor seating area. Breakfast is home cooked, plentiful and delicious. Quiet neighborhood.”

“This condo feels like home. The furniture is comfortable. The kitchen has the necessities. The condo is gated in a quiet neighborhood. The pool is gorgeous and perfectly maintained. The outdoor deck is set up for dining and sunning with table, bar, and lounge chairs. The mango tree adjacent to the deck area is heavy with fruit, but it is still to early to enjoy. The condo’s host is responsive and helpful. I couldn’t ask for a better home away from home!”

“If you are looking for the jungle experience than this is the place for you. We were greeted by the local troop of Howler monkeys on arrival. Beautiful house right on the river. Locals had been seeing Manitee in the river near the house. Kenny and Shanna were great. We are already planning a return trip. ”

A queen sized bed which was 10 steps from the door, a dorm size fridge and small microwave on a table, 1 chair in the corner close to the bed, a rod to hang your clothes.
