Loved every single moment of our stay at this beautifully appointed trilevel home!! We came to visit family and being able to turn on the fireplace, look out the window and see the beautiful snow everywhere was wonderful. Having a garage during the winter was a real plus. Zach was readily available for all questions!!

We come back to this spot every year! Great location in Harbor Village. 2 mins from the beach, 5 min walk to the pool and footsteps away from the fire pit, playground & volleyball net! Owners are extremely accommodating!

Another great stay

We love to stay at this townhouse. It is our favorite at Harbor Village and in the Manistee/Onekama area. It is always clean, inviting, and has all the amenities needed for a wonderful Michigan vacation. The property managers are so easy to communicate with and truly desire renters to have a wonderful, worry free stay. The unit itself is beautifully decorated with beautiful outdoor views from all sides. We will visit again and again!

Great Condo Stay

Beautiful property and location. Great little extras for kids that we weren't expecting like a children's table and children's dishes. Our son especially loved the foam letter and number floor puzzle. Beautiful kitchen and great views. The beach is close enough to enjoy a long walk or enjoy the marina walk across the street. Lots of pillows for the pillow lover! Zachary was quick to respond if we had any questions.

Family Vacation

This was our first trip to Lake Michigan, and we’ll definitely be back! The house was clean, fully stocked with supplies, and the house manager answered our questions right away. Harbor Village where the home is located was amazing! Quick walk to the outdoor or indoor pool which we used daily. Half mile walk to the beach! So convenient to get where we wanted all week. We didn’t use the car once we got here and loved all the close amenities. We highly recommend for a nice, relaxing week away from home.

Womens retreat

We were very happy with our long weekend trip to connect mother and daughters. It was perfect for location and amenities. Beware of the layout- 3 floors with stairs for those with children or disabilities. Also, for large gatherings the one full bath for showering may be a bit tight. There was plenty to do and comfortable touches throughout. Hosts are thoughtful and responsive. Thank you!

Perfect option for families

This property was a great place for our family vacation! The playground is right across the driveway. The clubhouse with the indoor pool and hot tub isn’t far at all-within walking distance but there is a small parking area next to it if you’re there in the winter and don’t want to walk through the cold air. The kitchen had lots of appliances for us to use-slow cooker, electric griddle, coffee pot and Keurig. We cooked several meals and were quite comfortable.

Perfect for our needs

It was only my husband & I along with our adult daughter....so we had plenty of room. We'd love to return with our other daughter & her family someday. Easy access to everything in the home. Easy walk or ride to the beach & pool. I would point out, all bedrooms & full bath are up 2 flights of stairs to the top level. The actual open living space with a half bath is up one flight of stairs. There is a small tv room (with a pull out couch), half bath & laundry room on the main floor. This wasn't a problem for us but i could see it being one if you have mobility issues. With all that being said, we had a wonderful time & highly recommend this unit.

3 night September stay

This is a very nice unit. It was very clean and well equipped with every day essentials. For elderly guests beware this is a three floor unit, ground floor, living and kitchen floor and top is bedrooms. It could be hard to carry up your suitcases, etc. One other thing, there is a very bad moldy smell in the bottom floor...which carries up to second floor. The owners must be aware because they seem to have a fan unit to circulate air.. They may need sewer or plumbing rodding. Or it may be coming from the clothes washer that needs a good cleaning with bleach or washer cleaner product. Other than that it was very nice and close to everything in downtown Manistee..

We spent a week there to celebrate a birthday and enjoy the end of the summer season. We had a great long weekend stay! 4 kids and 4 adults & we had plenty of room. We picked this based on location and amenities. Huge bonus being so close to the pools, playground & beach. The beds were a little hard but overall everything was nice. Kitchen had great appliances and lots of added things needed such as garbage bags, dish soap, dishwasher pods & spices. We definitely would come back & stay again!

Great place a short walk to the lake!

Overall, this property is fantastic. It’s a short walk to the beach and has plenty of sleeping space. My older kids loved the bunk beds (we don’t have them at home, so they were new for them). It was an even shorter walk to the accessible pool, which we took advantage of. There were many great places to sit outside on the cool mornings and sip on coffee. The hardest part with this place was that there were 2 sets of stairs, so keeping our 16 month old safe was a challenge, but we made it work. Of course we knew this before we booked the property, so no issues with the property itself from that standpoint. Had 1 or 2 questions while at the property and all were promptly answered by the owner. Great communication. I would recommend you stay here!

This is a great property! We accommodated all family members and hosted two larger family dinners. The indoor and outdoor pools were a hit. Good family restaurants, brew house and ice cream in town. We enjoyed the fireworks and 4th parade!

Just what you need

We are frequent visitors to Manistee -it is has a special place in our hearts as our Mom’s family originated in this beautiful little town. Over the years, we have stayed in many units in Harbor Village so expectations were high. We were not disappointed. Beautiful. Clean. Convenient. Well Maintained. Kid friendly. These are just a few words that fit perfectly. Being directly across from the tot park and close (but not on the lake) was perfect for our 4 grandkids under 7 (and their parents). We also enjoyed an evening of a bonfire and quiet. The unit was very clean and stocked with most of what we needed. Renters should know that the bunk-bed space is NOT private and any activity happening on the main level can and will be disruptive to little ones (or anyone) who go to bed earlier in the evening. Maybe I missed that detail and we worked through it eventually but I would have like to have prepared for that. The baby gates noted in the listing were not functional (at least we couldn’t get them to work). We went and bought our own because you absolutely cannot let an 18 mon old roam with the stair situation. Also there was not a single washcloth or hand towel to be found in the unit. (Again - went and bought our own) Plenty of bath towels. The tv in the bunk area did not work as a tv or for video games. I read that in a previous review before we went. I assumed it would have been fixed but it was not. As a group of 9 -plus we had other family visitors - we generated some trash. Unfortunately when we arrived the one trash can at the unit was completely full. I felt bad about leaving our stuff behind out of the can but we had no choice. Not sure there is much you can do about that other than to have options of off-site disposal. Full disclosure-we did not contact the owner about any of our concerns during our stay. Didn’t think it rose to that level. All of that aside -it was an ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL stay. Our Mom would have loved the place! Thank you!
