Great Ski Home!
Charming house perfectly set up to accommodate a ski family. Plenty of room to spread out with ski gear. The kitchen was stocked with enough cookware for us to make meals. The ski closet was a great idea to keep our skis safe. It was so convenient to have the house on the shuttle line to Okemo. The kids enjoyed having their own area to sleep on the 3rd floor, although for younger/older guests, the staircase is a bit steep. Wendi was a great host and answered all our questions. Would come back again!

Great location and space
Communication was excellent. The location was great for walking into the village and short drive for great parking at Okemo. Perfect for 2 families with possibility of renting both sides for a larger group. Will definitely be returning next year!

A quiet spot ... great location!
My husband, two daughters (ages 8 and 10) and I --stayed five nights at this awesome property. Wendy, the property manager, is a wonderful communicator and made everything so easy. The house was stocked up with everything we could possibly need. What I think we loved the most about the property was the location ... just 3 minutes from Okemo. The house was not only spacious, but super QUIET and peaceful. Highly recommend!

This property was great. We went the weekend to ski and it was only 3 mins from okemo. It is an easy walk to the downtown restaurants. My wife and kids had a blast and we really enjoyed the location.

Okemo Ski Trip
House as advertised. Beds were comfortable, linens and towels were fresh, very clean. Had an issue with house code when we arrived after 4 hour drive. Texted and called several times to no avail. Decided to go to dinner and await a return message. Wendy did contact us about half way through dinner with a backup code. Minor inconvenience. I would also recommend new pots and pans, preferably of non stick variety. As a group who cooks breakfast in each morning I found the pans to be of high difficulty. Extremely sticking and impossible to clean.

Great Ludlow stay
This location was wonderful for our VT trip. Walkable to great restaurants and so close to Okemo. The place was comfortable and had everything we could want.

Nice House withing walking distance of Ludlow village
Came in for a wedding and the house worked out perfectly. Easy walk to town for lunch or short drive to other spots for the one night we had to do dinner on our own. Ludlow is still hard hit by the flooding and people are working hard to get back for foliage and ski season.

Fun times at the mountain!
We had a wonderful last minute trip to Okemo over Easter weekend. Wendi was super prompt on all communication. The house was as advertised and fitted our needs perfectly! 3 adult and 3 kids who loved their private attic room! Will definitely be back!

Great location and home

Perfect cozy & convenient!
Ludlow is such a quaint ski town, this historic home was so cozy & convenient! All was as we expected and more. We would definitely stay here again, the kid cousins loved the attic bedroom and great dinners in the kitchen or relaxing by the fire.

Wonderful Location.

Cute!
On a quiet street that runs parallel to the main rd for the little tiny downtown nearby- we walked through the backyard to get to the restaurants/shops- super convenient. Love the gas fireplace inside. House was warm and welcoming. Note, the 3rd floor (4 twin beds) has steep small steps leading up to and slanted ceilings- yet 4 grown adult women still stayed together in that room like we were having a slumber party, lol. Had everything we needed for movie watching (throw blankets) and cooking breakfast. A few times we heard a few scary loud thumps and a dog barking- thinking maybe the people checking in next door (it’s a duplex)? Such a great stay though. Thanks, Wendi!

location!!
we booked this rental for a 2 night stay in the middle of peak fall foliage week!. Let me just say that the foliage did not dissapoint. WOW!. The rental was clean, plenty of space for myself and my other family member. the gas fireplace was really nice and set a relaxing mood for watching TV in the evenings. The beds were very comfortable with ample comforters and pillows. you cannot beat the location. its in walking distance to Main street where all the eateries and shops are. When I say walking distance, I mean like less than half a mile. it was perfect. We had a little trouble with the lock the first day, but I was able to get a hold of Wendi right away and she fixed it. The shower upstairs is a bit small, if you are a bigger/taller person you may have to use the downstairs shower. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! Thanks again!

Great Stay!
This was a beautiful, clean, comfortable property to stay at! The beds are INSANELY comfortable. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean and nice. We were sad we only stayed one night. Would definitely stay here again!

Clean and Comfortable
Arrived late and left early; just stayed one night so can't fully review it. Didn't even use the kitchen except for the Keurig machine. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen seemed well appointed. Would stay again if we return to Ludlow.

Okemo Ski Trip
The house was quaint and accommodating for our family's ski trip. The location was excellent right off of main street (but still very quiet) and less than 5 minutes from the mountain. The only thing missing that would be nice to have for guests on a ski trip would be some sort of drying rack or mitten tree to go in front of the fireplace.

Great vacation home for families
This is a great vacation house close to everything. We stayed with our friends here for the ski vacation. With the close proximity, we don’t need to rush to get in the resort. The location is close to the supermarket and restaurants. Wendi kept the house so clean, and we loved it here.

Great rental
House was perfect for our two families of four. Kids loved sleeping together in the 4 beds on the 3rd floor. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed which meant more room for our ski gear in the car. Very short and convenient drive to Okemo. And we could walk to restaurants downtown when weather was warmer. We had no complaints. Will definitely consider staying again on our next Okemo ski trip.

well stocked for comfort
Pictures look lovely, but what pictures can't tell you is the following. The beds are comfortable, the pillows are comfortable, the blankets are cozy and plentiful, there are plenty of towels. There are nice touches, like the hangers and the soaps are nice. The kitchen is well-stocked with equipment and products, and intended to be used. A very comfortable place for a few days or longer.

Super clean and comfortable.
We enjoyed our second trip skiing in Vermont. This property was great for skiing during the week. The shuttle was not running like we thought it would. That was disappointing, but not the fault of this property owner. Long lines waiting to get to parking on the weekends. We noticed the shuttle working on Sunday. We heard some talk about labor shortages so maybe that’s why it wasn’t running as stated. It didn’t show up Friday, or Saturday at the times on the schedule. If you want American pie pizza you have to order before 12 noon. The heat was not working properly, but it was fixed very quickly and we stayed comfortable with the fireplace and the space heater. Super clean and comfortable. We highly recommend this property. Rob and Viv

A cozy and comfortable stay in Ludlow!
My family and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Wendi's place over the holidays. The house was cozy, delightful, and just as described! I especially appreciated the beds; the pillows and linens were plentiful and of high quality, making for a restful night's sleep after long days of skiing. The heating system worked great - the house maintained a constant and comfortable temperature. The gas fireplace was a lovely addition to turn on in the evenings. Communication with Wendi was a breeze; she quickly responded to all my inquiries. The only minor issue we faced was at check-in. I'd inquired about the possibility of checking in a little early, but Wendi explained that during ski season, early check-in was not an option. We arrived at the property at 3:50 pm but had some trouble assessing the unit until after 4 pm. Unfortunately, this meant we couldn't get to the Okemo rental location before closing time (4:30 pm), which made for a stressful first morning trying to get rentals and kids to ski school before 8:30 am. Regardless of this minor check-in glitch, I highly recommend Wendi's place!

Unfortunately, with Covid cleaning protocols, staffing tight and especially during busy season we can't extend check in's or outs. Check in at 4 is pretty standard our here with most vacation rentals. We only have a few hours to properly clean for our next guests and the quality of our place as well as cleanliness is very important to us. Thank you for your understanding . Please come back again.

Pleasant St Home = Pleasant Stay
We enjoyed our weekend stay in this pleasant home… great location to the center of town and restaurants…easily walkable. The host was quick to respond to our questions and calls ..always friendly and gracious. The home is warm and inviting( even with its old home quirks) …well equipped kitchen and nice outdoor space with fire pit. We would definitely recommend this property to others and would definitely stay here again.

Weekend getaway
Fabulous stay - walking distance to downtown and some fabulous restaurants and cafes. We stayed in the summer and enjoyed hiking but hope to return in the winter! House is as described, backyard was a highlight... check in was simple with the keypad!

If weather is over 85-90deg. an air conditioner would be needed. But we did not need it at night as it cooled down after 7 pm.

Cute home and very clean
My family stayed here for 2 nights. We booked last minute and Wendy was so accommodating on such short notice. The house was very clean and adorable. We loved the barn door on the bathroom. The kids loved the attic bedroom. Unfortunately it rained the whole time we were there and not many restaurants/things to do were open. Next time we plan to come in the summer or fall. We’ll definitely stay in this house again.

Fun spot in Ludlow
We (a family of 3) stayed here for about a week of skiing. Location was convenient - only 3 minutes to the base and 7 to Jackson Gore - also close to the shops in town. Bedrooms are spacious - the bunk room is cute and great for kids. Towels and sheets were very comfy, though the mattresses on the queen beds were not as comfy. We didn't realize the house is a duplex. I would add that the walls are thin and you can hear everything that goes on next door. Interactions with owner were easy and efficient. We recommend staying here - very cute.

Weekend Skiing
We had a great time this weekend in Ludlow skiing at Okemo - although a little cold but nothing anyone can do about that. We purposely picked this place to be on the Okemo Village bus route to take to the slopes each day as that was very convenient the previous year. Due to COVID, those are not running this year so had to drive a park at Okemo. Again, not the property manager's fault but letting people know. The place was clean and nice and very interesting how they made the space work. Only negative is if you are over 6 foot and trying to take a shower. There is a manageable option but the showers were a bit tight. No concerns on staying warm as the fire place gave out plenty of heat, plenty of blankets to utilize and very warm bedding on the beds. As well as a Nest system to adjust the heat. The dishwasher is a unique set up under the sink. I would call it a 1 meal dishwasher - meaning 1 meal will fill it with dishes but plenty of dish soap was supplied so we ran it after each meal. The house is convenient to walk to many restaurants. We did not get to utilize that as much given the COVID restrictions on places and super cold weather. Looking forward to next year and hopefully minus the COVID restrictions.

Great House - close to town and skiing

A thoughtful host with a thoughtful home in a gorgeous place
Wendi rolled with all the changes of Summer 2020 with understanding, good humor and attention to detail- the same qualities she brings to the property. Ludlow is a fantastic base for hiking, swimming, boating and diving into Vermont.

Great location
The location is perfect—just a block from the quaint downtown area and a good central location for exploring Vermont. The kitchen is small and the stairs to 2nd and 3rd floor are narrow and steep as you would expect in a house of this age. Nicely furnished and owner was a delight to work with.
