I stayed at this hotel for several nights, and it was a very disappointing experience. The food and drinks were clearly reused from the previous day and tasted far from fresh. Throughout my stay, my bedsheets and duvets were never changed unless I ask, and the room was not cleaned properly even once. There was a bad smell everywhere in the hotel. Customer service was practically nonexistent - you feel completely forgotten as a guest. The hotel has no activities, no atmosphere, nothing that makes your stay enjoyable. Breakfast options are extremely poor, and the overall service feels very low quality. The staff don’t smile or create any sense of hospitality, making the place feel dead and unwelcoming. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

I would not recommend staying at this hotel. Check-in was rude and not welcoming, which set a bad tone right away. The car park did not feel secure and we were told it was owned by another company, which was confusing. The food was also disappointing. The fruit at breakfast was not fresh, and it was surprisingly difficult to find decent options at the buffet. Overall, the quality did not match what we expected. Between the unfriendly staff, poor food, and concerns about the car park, I would suggest staying elsewhere in the area.

Hotel having building refurb not informed of this this when booking, temp entrance not well signposted. Still charged full price plus £10 overnight parking charge, were not told that breakfast was cheaper if booked on arrival. Room very scruffy and carpet so dirty with what looked like oily stains all over. Breakfast was like a building site canteen. Not warned in advance of any of this and should not have been charged normal price for substandard service, would never have booked had we known. Not worth £125 including breakfast, extremely disappointed.

This was a 1-night stay for work. The car park was not free (£10). I was in room 157 which was spacious as was the ensuite - lovely large bath towels. TV was okay as was the WiFi. On arrival in the room the remote for TV was not working, went to reception to report and within 10 minutes maintenance was knocking at my door, repairing the issue. I asked for decaf tea and coffee in room, only decaf coffee provided. Bed was comfortable. I ate in the hotel restaurant and it took a while to get served (to order food and drinks). It took another while for food to arrive (the restaurant was not busy - about 12 people) and I had to ask for the drink I had ordered with my food, when my food arrived - service in the restaurant was poor. The hotel is undergoing renovation at the moment but lifts are still accessible.

The toiletries are finished, no tissue paper no Soap in the bathing area, the bottles were empty. They value their policies more than customer services so be aware once you booked with them you are trapped.

The hotel was a building site, there was a smell of burning in the restaurant, this made me uneasy and I checked my escape route on my way to my room. The restaurant lacked ambience, due to presence of building materials and partitions, very disappointed.

Lovely stay either side of our holiday.

It was a clean and comfortable room both sides of our holiday. Tea tray and toiletries also included and lovely to have blackout curtains.
