“The location is ideal. The accommodations were as described, however, I would not review the toilet (outhouse) as super clean, as we had read on previous reviews. It was fine, but not exceptional. Just to reinforce, we were very glad we had a space heater for nights in the 40s and 50s. There is minimal wattage in the dome and so we had to keep the fan on low and did not dare raise the temp above 65°. It took the edge off. This is a great “primitive” experience. “We had an excellent stay here. The cabin is well designed, great space for a large group, with lots of sleeping options and nice views of the woods. Everything was clean and well stocked, lots of towels for the sauna, and quality cookware in the kitchen. The dining table was huge and great for board games. We got a really nice rate that was super reasonable for our visit too. I’d definitely book these again in the winter to enjoy the sauna to its fullest.”
