Fair hotel, near main train station in Luxembourg

The hotel was convenient and clean. It was also one of the most affordable options near the train station. The air conditioner did not work at all, which was problematic given that it was a warm night.

Staff were very helpful and obliging and gave good local recommendations and advice during my visit. Rooms are basic but just what you need for a solo travel or work trip. good location near train station and trams to the airport. Adult venues surround it so there is a noticeable shift in atmosphere later in the evening in the surrounding streets.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was limited - no hot food, limited choices. It was poor compared to other IBIS Styles hotels we have stayed in on this- and other trips.

Was beyond expected for a 3*- no lift and standard small room. However it was clean and offered very good value drinks 24 hours and food (microwave from freezer, but still good to have option). Location is sketchy but very close to station. If you prioritise transport links over a nice location, it works.

Very convenient location just a couple of minutes from the train station and around 10 minutes to city center. Being near the train station the neighborhood is not very pleasant (some noise during the night being just above some night clubs) but this is common to every hotels in the area The room is very clean and new. The bathroom a little bit small but with everything A nice plus is to have free hot beverage in the hall available all day

Good value hotel

The hotel was just a couple of minutes walk from the train station where the free bus from the airport stops. Only a 10-15 minute walk to the main sights of Luxembourg.

Basic hotel, room was clean but small particularly the bathroom. The area was very dodgy. Lots of groups of men hanging around outside. Smoking area out the front, constantly asked for money or cigarettes. Felt very uncomfortable

Okay stay

The place was just okay. The room smell a bit musty. The toilet was very small. Towels didn't smell fresh but actually quite smelly. The breakfast was alright. The location was good.

3nights 2days in luxemburg city.

The hotel is very handy for the train station and trams and buses which are all free to travel on anywhere you like in Luxemburg. We caught the bus to Ettlebruck and then caught another to Vianden. We then went round the castle out for the day. The Ibis staff are great and very helpful the hotel was spotlessly clean and the breakfasts had a good choice of foods. The bonus for us was that we could safely keep our Motorcycle in the underground garage which was brilliant as it has a roller shutter door that closes once you enter. We had a great stay here.

Don’t stay there!

Smallest room ever. No room for luggage. Was under renovation and did not have signage for their location. Couldn’t find the hotel. Very unsafe area! Street lined with men ogling you ever time you came and went from the building.

The hotel was great value for money in a perfect location very near the main train station (airport bus drops at the station) Staff very friendly and helpful. The street where the hotel is located is noisy in the evening, which wasnt a huge issue for us. But it was slightly intimidating. I would not recommend if travelling as a young woman on your own. Which is a pity as i have no complaints about the actual hotel

The hotel was very cute and pretty clean. Several times we walked in and there was no one at the front desk. Our ceiling appeared to have mold above the shower. Room was very small but comfortable. We were able to walk everywhere, but public transport is free if wanting to go further out. The street the hotel was on was a little bit dirty and there were a lot of strange men standing around. I would’ve been uncomfortable walking outside the hotel if by myself.

Water was cut while showering no one from front office or house keeping informed me there was no sign that water will.be cut for certain period of time. When i was booking my rooms it was not notified that there was construction and rennovation going on in the hotel......

Too expensive for a budget hotel

The hotel itself is on a quite sketchy street with what appeared to be gangs on street corners. We felt unsafe that we crossed the road to avoid them and did not leave the hotel late at night. All the rooms appeared to be the same size, which was quite small when you have two suitcases. The TV had only a couple of English channels and the room was a bit cold with the aircon only blowing out cold air. However, the room was clean and the shower was good with soaps and shampoos included. For the price (£87 per night) i think this was not worth it for the area. Breakfast should at least be included. They are an eco friendly hotel so they do not provide you with water bottles and tea and coffee is not available in the room and you have to go downstairs to get your free tea or coffee (only from 11am - 10pm).
