"Worst hotel experience at Pearly Hotel Antalya.
I booked 2 rooms through Expedia and clearly requested:
• 2 separate beds in each room
• Connected rooms
I also sent 2 requests before arrival to confirm this.
When we arrived at 8 PM, Sema at reception was not welcoming or helpful. No smile, no apology, and every answer was simply “No.”
• No rooms with 2 beds
• No connected rooms
• Rooms on different floors
• No solutions offered
She showed us a room with a strong cigarette smell, which we refused.
Finally:
• One room had a double bed with a tiny extra bed added for my brother, who could not sleep comfortably
• The other room was very small and they separated the double bed into two beds
Breakfast had a good variety of cheeses, but there was an unpleasant rancid smell in the area, possibly from dishes or poor cleanliness. Breakfast manager Mehmet was also rude and unwelcoming.
Other disappointing points:
• No tissues in the room
• Poor assistance for flower arrangement
• Breakfast takeaway box without cutlery, coffee charged extra
• €5 requested for an extra room key
Only positives:
• Good location
• Good housekeeping
• Excellent SPA, though separately managed
Antalya was wonderful, but this hotel experience was very disappointing."
