Bear Cove Escape, a premier vacation rental in Lyndon Station managed by My Favorite Home Away From Home, offers a secluded 6-acre retreat that’s perfect for family getaways or group vacations. Located just 2 minutes off I-90, and within 10 minutes of Wisconsin Dells, 20 minutes to Castle Rock Lake, and 25 minutes from Cascade Mountain, it’s the ideal home base for outdoor adventure and relaxation. This spacious log cabin features 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and a game room, accommodating up to 15 guests.

Sleeping arrangements include 11 beds: 5 twin beds (two trundles and a full/twin bunk bed), 1 full bed (part of the bunk bed), a queen sleeper sofa, 1 queen bed, and 3 king beds, plus 5 recliners. The master suite offers a king bed and a full bathroom with a tub/shower and double sinks. Additional bathrooms include a half bath on the main level, a full bathroom upstairs with a tub/shower, and a full bathroom with a stand-up shower in the basement.

The fully equipped kitchen includes everything needed for meal prep, such as pots, pans, dishes, a Keurig coffee machine (BYO K-cups), a toaster, a teapot with tea, and a selection of spices. The two living rooms provide ample space for relaxation, with one featuring a sleeper sofa and Blu-ray DVD player with movies, and the other showcasing an indoor gas fireplace.

Outside, enjoy a campfire area with seating for 15 (BYO firewood or gather from the property), a charcoal grill (guests bring charcoal and lighter fluid), and a gas grill with supplied propane. Entertainment options abound with Roku TVs in every bedroom and living area (streaming services available with guest accounts), a pool table, foosball table, air hockey, dartboard, ping pong table, craft/toy/board game area, small library, work desk, and a video gaming area with a PS4 and games. Relax on the porch with wicker chairs and a swing, or enjoy the back deck with a patio table, chairs, and umbrella. The property also offers plenty of parking for vehicles, trailers, campers, RVs, and lake or land toys, plus outdoor trails to explore.

We have one outdoor security camera mounted near the garage in the front of the house.

This property is located on a secluded, wooded property. There is wildlife including bats, deer, and other animals.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting 'Yes' to pets. This fee is $125 for the stay. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The $125 pet fee will apply for each additional approved dog.

Up to 15 guests are included in the cost when you book with us at Bear Cove Escape.

Parking notes: There is free parking for 10 vehicles.

**Important:** We prioritize the protection of our properties and staying compliant with short-term rental regulations. To ensure this, we require all guests to complete a verification process. Before your stay begins, you’ll need to verify your details through our trusted third-party partner, Truvi, which includes submitting a photo ID and a selfie.
For your peace of mind, we purchase a damage waiver on your behalf at no cost to you. This waiver safeguards you and your group against accidental damage during your stay, helping us maintain our property in excellent condition. If any damage occurs, there’s no need to worry—just inform us so we can ensure the next guest enjoys the same great experience.
We recommend completing the ID verification process and paying for the waiver at least 72 hours before check-in to avoid any check-in delays.

The following list will cause immediate eviction from the property and termination of the booking without a refund. Guest agrees to pay a $500 surcharge for every violation of the house rules:
1. Tampering with any security devices
2. Ignoring quiet hours
3. Ignoring the maximum property guest count
4. Having a party
5. Having illegal substances or underage drinking

Additional House Rules:
+ Fire pit: Be VERY careful to keep the fire contained inside the fire pit. No Large fires and please do not have a fire on a windy day. Guests must clean up the fire pit area after use.

+ Parking: There is plenty of parking for your vehicles in the main driveway. If additional parking is needed you can park past the main driveway towards the back detached garage. No more than 6 vehicles are permitted to be parked on the premises.

+ If you are staying at the house on Tuesday night, please roll the garbage cans to the street curb. If garbage cans are at the curb upon check-in, please bring them into the garage.

+ Early check-ins are not allowed unless prior approval is given. However, there is space in the garage to store your luggage before your check-in time.

+ If you use either the gas or charcoal grill, please clean it.
