This hotel services a small country village somewhat off the beaten path and as such does not have all the facilities of a major hotel. There are just a handful of guest rooms, all on a second floor walk up with no lobby. Check-in is done automatically/remotely. Still, it is a very serviceable and pleasant location to stay at when visiting the immediate area. The only request we would make would be to add a blow dryer to the bathroom amenities.

The keyless lock at the front was a little touchy and it took multiple tries sometimes. It’s a 2-step code which can be an issue if your finger isn’t exactly on the right spot. Also no elevator with lots of steps to 2nd floor. Everything else was great.

Hidden Gem

Hidden gem- impeccable restoration of an historic property. One suggestion- a little maid service would be good. Not a big deal but would be appreciated. We would definitely return.

This is a boutique hotel. Rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Shared full-size kitchen and laundry. Proprietor is very responsive to your questions and concerns. He is a a phone call, text, or email away. Residents of the area are friendly. Lyndonville, NY is convenient located midway between Buffalo and Rochester. Near the Historic Erie Canal, Lake Ontario, Lake Erie, Niagara Falls, and Toronto, Canada. I love staying there. I cannot wait to go back.

The room was nice, logistic on the ownership was poor. My room was double booked and they gave out the code to my room to someone else while I was inside, it was awkward
