"Place was for the most part great and looked very similar to the pictures. Perfect spot for a large group to stay for a cottage weekend away. Only complaint was the odor in the house when we got there was very overwhelming. In the main cottage, the musty odor, particularly in the basement, was very bad. In the smaller cabin, there was an extremely strong curry spice odor that made the stay there difficult to enjoy. If it wasn’t for the odors, would have rated this stay higher."

"While the living quarters were definitely quaint and cozy - this property is definitely misrepresented. The owner also lives on site - which normally would not be a problem at all, except that he views the boathouse rental as a shared space - therefore, working on his own boats, toys, and equipment in the boathouse below while you are there. He also runs a business selling equipment out of his laneway, which makes parking very difficult and awkward. I do not mean to come across as negatively...
