「Beautiful location with a beautiful view but just feels like there is very little upkeep. Broken mirror in the bathroom, fan in the bathroom sounded like it was going to take off. Some of the lights didn’t work. Toilet roll holder barely hanging on the wall. It’s not a bad spot but just needs some love. Beautiful beach on the shore of Huron.」

「This is an old motel that I believe is being renovated one room at a time. Unfortunately, our room was not one of the newly renovated ones and was, quite frankly, disgusting! We are not picky but have an expectation of clean. The only thing that was clean was the bed. The floor had not been vacuumed, the fridge was dirty, the microwave was filthy and I could hardly bring myself to even use the bathroom, certainly no shower was had. Even if there had been some attempt to clean the room, this...

「This hotel is very old as soon as you look at it you think oh what have I done but once you get inside the room, you see it’s all new and the staff is very helpful polite and quick. I am 83 years old travelling along with my dog and I felt safe.」

「Loved the room. Large, and well laid out. Disappointed that they did not have the ability to heat water so I could make tea. You had to go down to the lobby to heat your water in the microwave. Otherwise no complaints」

「Room smelled and felt like was last cleaned in 1968 pillows had bad odours to them roudy people were coming and going all nightlong poor sleeping as a result staff ignored customers lined up while staff chatted to friends on the phone made checking in long and involved」

「This hotel was surprisingly great! The entire place, and my room were completely spotless and the staff were incredibly helpful. Full breakfast (not just continental) was included and it was delicious! I'll absolutely stay here again when I visit Sault Ste Marie.」
