"My wife and I spent five days enjoying the quiet and beauty of the Oliveira do Hospital area. Mathew’s farm was the perfect location from which we could explore the surrounding villages, vineyards and mountains of Serra da Estrela. Mathew was the absolute perfect host. He ensured that we had everything we needed in his spacious and beautifully decorated home. We so enjoyed his company, his generosity and the great discussions over wine and cheese. 😊"

"Lovely rural 2 story cottage...Hazel had to "fetch" us because the beautiful place is hard to find. Do not attempt to arrive after dark. We used as a base to explore northern Portugal. A lime tree grows outside your kitchen window! We didn't use the pool but sat there for the fantastic sunsets. Beautiful experience."

"Lovely, welcoming town and easy check in process. House is up a steep road but the views are worth it. The owner was attentive to our needs and promptly responded to any issues we had. The house is the last one on the road and the surrounding views from all windows and porch were amazing. We spent many hours on the porch watching the birds on the hillsides around us and the light change on the mountains across the valley. "Luna Chalet are rustic chalets, and I must admit that the unit given to us was very comfortable with great views. Nice bedding, good towels, all dishes and soap needed. The only negative is that they supply the nespresso type machines but with no pods. It would have been nice to have coffee in the morning. A lot of channels on the television also.
