This was a comfortable stay in a clean 1960s room at a dive up to the door 1 story motel. It was overpriced at $135 plus tax. We travel a lot staying in 45 hotels per year. For the 3rd week in Northern Maine at $85 this would have been a good place to stay.

We have stayed at The bluebird several times in the last couple of years and we have no complaints. The bed is comfortable the water pressure is great everything is clean. But it looks like things are getting long in the tooth. The bathrooms, at least, need to be updated. We will stay there again for sure!

Extremely well maintained, it was like a flashback to the 70's, cute place, nice people, exactly what you would expect from an upper Maine motel, would not hesitate to book again. They were starting renovations, so it could change.

Surprisingly quiet. The room was large - a king-sized bed, a desk and a little sitting area. The toiletries were very nice. Basically, it had all I would expect from a good hotel, way more than I expected from a motel. The receptionist was helpful.
